Ok, we have this game and WiFi but have no friends with codes to leave town with.... None of my kids friends have this game, so how the heck else can we leave towns??!! Its making me crazy

I knew I was addicted today when I rushed home by 5PM so I could caltch the half off sale at Nook's

I was helping my hubby set up his new character at 5! I didn't hear about the half price sale! I got off at 10am, after getting my turnips. Did I miss a bulletin board sign on the sale?

OMG - I am a grown up and I can't believe that i just wrote all of the above to a board of thousands of strangers!

Go into the town gate area. Talk to the guard on the right side he will give you selections. One of the selections is like for your friend code to give out. He is also who you go to when you want to either go visit or let someone come visit you.

"Santa" heard Pete talking about it on the podcast and got it for us and we (husband and myself) have not stopped playing. I like to think we are normal adults but when I am setting my alarm early so I can get to Tom Nooks shop first, I know I have gone to a dark place. We have had to set rules for who gets to go shopping first and who does all the "favors" for the town critters. I just got yelled at because Ii set out a can to attract flys (to donate) and husband wants a clean town. I am going to have to get it for the DS.

It is an amazing game.

The half off sale was posted on the board in the town square this morning. The sale actually lasted 'til closing. Plus, Nook told you about it whenever you entered the store. I ran back in a couple of hours later to pick up some medicine after reading the posts about the bee stings.

I can't get online with our Wii It says the connection works, but I can't access anything. I get an error code 220602. I'm pretty good at electronics and technical stuff until there's a problem.

OMG - that is exactly what I was thinking too! I got up for turnips and hoarded fish in my house to sell tomorrow morning. Since I don't start my new job until the 12th, I went ahead and bought red turnip seeds.....

We got the error for the DS issue, too. We are also network literate and the Wii Weather works. Not sure why it won't connect.

No sale for me either. I was in that store a lot, too! My husband also did his indentured servitude today (and completed it). He has no concerns about paying mortgage quickly. He's already got plans for a foreign fruit conglomerate!

Click on "friend code" when the options come up that say "I wanna go out," "Invite guests", "Friend code", "Where Am I" . I'm excited about getting international friends. I read in the guide last night that you can visit special events in their countries on designated days to collect things. Also, Has anyone rode the bus into the city yet?

We were not able to wifi yesterday either. And I know other people who couldn't wifi either. We ran into that same problem when the game first came out. I think there is a system overload problem.

Yup, I went to the City and got my hair done, a makeover, my shoes shined (I was really hoping that I could get new shoes ... the red ones just aren't matching my outfit designs at all - lol). The City hasn't really done much for me yet ... I'm not sure if there are special goings on there. So far it just seems like a money/bell pit. I can't afford the high-end furniture store and I haven't put anything up for auction yet in the auction house.

With Kick's and the shoes it's all in how you answer his questions on how your shoes look. Right now mine are white with black bows. And my favorite thing in the city is when the balloon guy is there. You can get a bunny balloon, a regular balloon, bubbles and a bubble wand or a pin wheel. You can only get one a day though.

Yeah, I got to that, too. I tried to turn my firewal off, but that didn't help. I'm going to attempt the manual set-up, but I don't know where to find all of the information It's so frustrating, because I've heard that it is really easy to set-up. All of our other computers that are wireless have been no problem to set up.
