BTW, I have the HTF cabin chair (thanks Susan!) and can order it for anyone who needs it.

No time to play yesterday because I was busy at neurologist appt (I have migraines, not issues related to the spinal stenosis....yay! lol) and getting Annika ready for her 20 day trip to Oregon. She flies out at 2:00 this afternoon. I'll really miss her but have to say I am looking forward to some "me" time. Scott leaves for 10 days on Thursday so I will be all alone for 10 days. With the exception of my road trip on Saturday to see Coldplay and Snow Patrol I plan on watching lots of movies and playing lots (and lots) of AC - you'll all be sick of me visiting your towns.


By the way, an update on my other health issues for those who know about them....the neurosurgeon I saw last week feels my spinal stenosis is not advanced enough at this point to warrant surgery (another yay!) and he wants me to just continue with my physical therapy and do more epidural steroid injections as needed whenever they are allowed. The surgeon that does them doesn't like to do more than 1 series of 3 every 6 months. I have an EMG test confused3) this Thursday to test the nerves in my left arm to see where the numbness in my hand is coming from. My physical therapist suspects an impingement syndrome in my left shoulder (probably also due to arthritis/bone spurs) and if the testing on Thursday supports that then I guess my shoulder is the next body part I start getting poked and prodded.

Damn - if this is my body at 41, I am frightened to consider what things will be like in 20 years!! I'll probably be one big lump of arthritic bone spur with crippling headaches.

Wonder of all wonders! I actually had more than 10 seconds to play today! My clock was set to late at night (11:00 PM ish) but I never saw any of the really good beetles. But I did catch quite a few bugs so that's good. I'm hoping to spend some time fishing in the ocean for some of the big fish there.

Anyway today I got a mushroom mural and I thought I remembered someone needing some of these items. If anyone wants it, let me know and I'll send it on.

My DD isn't even a teen yet and she's maybe 75% sweet. Some days more, some days less. So you're lucky for more than all that time to yourself.

I'm changing to Nook and Go too. It's been driving me crazy to have to pack my house full of bugs and fish when Nookington's closes at 9. I may switch back once the big bugging season is over.

Keri, I "dropped in" again later last night to sell some bugs and fish - thanks! But I couldn't find you or your character (so I couldn't hide her this time - drat!) so didn't stay long.

The name of the book we told you about is Faery Rebels by RJ Anderson. The only problem with the book is that while it lured my DD away from Sims 3, it also had her up past her bedtime. I couldn't fuss at her, though, because it had done the same thing to me. This "proof" copy says it was to go on sale in April, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding it for your DD.

Has anyone tried editing your Mii on the Wii and know if that changes your Mii mask automatically, or if you have to go back to Shampoodle to get the updated one? (What can I say, I'm cheap and am hoping for a free haircut!)

I have no idea if you can mess with someone else's town, but yes, it it true that you can duplicate items. I have no idea how. My ds 11, figured it out. Hopefully it is safe, but if you guys don't want to come to my town anymore, I will understand. I promise you we are not the type to screw up anyone's else's stuff. I am really the only one that plays, and have no idea how to hack or cheat. I really wanted my grass back, so that is why my son got in and "fixed" it. Then I couldn't resist a few other things while he was in there. But anyway, I promise I would never do anything to anyone's town. I wouldn't even have a clue how to do that!!!

Yes - during the summer, you tan when you are out in the sun. You can prevent it with an umbrella but who wants to carry an umbrella around all day? LOL! I am jealous you are in July. I am already bored with June and the measly few beetles there are.

Susan - I must have just stepped out for a moment. I played until 1 when Nooks closed.

Re: hacking and duplicating items.....

All you have to do to duplicate is leave someones down and hit reset before your game is saved. Doesn't hurt anyone else's town and no special software is needed. I haven't tried it myself it but have hosted a couple of people who have "duped" stuff when leaving my town. It's really quite harmless. Hacking involves changing more things and while it is true people who have the knowledge can mess up your town, I am truly confident that no one here would ever do that. I think you'd mostly run into that when meeting people on the main ACCF boards out there, not our little haven of disney fanatics and moms.

And I'll vouch for Diane - she would never, ever mess with anyone's game or town!

Very easy. It just plugs into the USB port in the back of the Wii. Then it sits on top of your remote bar on the TV.

does anyone know when you get your friend code is there anything you need to do with your internet connection beforehand. my connection is fine for the wii channels and it is all set up but i cant get my friend code. the dog goes to get it and says there is a problem

Hmmmm... we had this same issue when I first tried to connect to wifi on AC too. If I remember correctly, we had to change some of the settings on our wii. I'm sorry, I'm sure this probably isn't much help!
