And I have another question.

Has anyone been able to buy a red turnip from Joan or is that simply a myth in this game? I've tried EVERY Sunday for the last month and she never has any.

We time traveled by 2 hours via the wii clock not the AC clock and she didn't have them that week.

Ahhh...well...that would make sense I suppose being as I've been time travelling quite a bit lately.

I finally got a new neighbor.... Willow! She's a yellow sheep. It's funny because the sheep are my favorite and now with Willow, I have 3 in my game! Thank goodness Biskit didn't decide to move in.... but that means he's still on the loose!

I just had Biskit move OUT of my town on my DS. Never even knew I had him till I picked up my game last night to play and replant all my trees in hopes of getting a perfect town.

I came across a leaf laying on my grass the other day. When I tried to pick it up, it moved. Yep, I found the walking leaf. I had no clue about this bug until I found it. I found a walking stick today. I'm enjoying the better bugs and fish in July. I may be able to earn the Gracie collection yet.

LMAO! My mom did the same thing. She thought she'd dropped a piece of furniture...then it moved.


Also, July is the best time for bugs. Go bug catching after 7pm (or better yet, set your clock to like 2am) and you can make darn near 100,000 bells in one pocketfull of bugs.

Us too!! We did it once the second week we had the game...and NEVER again!

We did get our new neighbor (Tom) but have yet to see what he is yet as he is a late riser (like our favorite Fang! ) so we are going to try tonight to check him out!

Ok, I discovered something last night that I'm sure everybody but I knew. I didn't know you could wave at your neighbors and that they would wave back if they are across water or a bridge, etc. My brother told me that makes them really happy and they look so cute when they wave back! So did everybody but me already know this?

I juuust got this game. Just learned how to fish. I am a total newbie. Can someone please explain how I pay my mortgage? I have $12,000 bells to give him but I don't know how. When I go to his store and click on him, paying my mortgage is not one of the options.

You'll soon be addicted!! Just go to your Town Hall (where you go to mail letters and where the recycling bin is) and on the left hand side, there should be an atm looking thing. Just hit A right in front of that and the first option should be to pay your mortgage. HTH! And you can always ask lots more questions if you need to!
