Has any one heard from Angela?

She had a post on another board not to long ago. (Maybe it was the theme parks)

I miss her!!

AngieBelle hasn't posted since the beginning of the month.

How are you holding up Angie?

She dropped by chat about a week ago...she seems to be holding up well....but her employment status had not changed at that time..4 weeks...whew....

I'm still around...I lurk. I'm insecure about posting now.

Disney still doesn't know what to do. I've been in touch with my manager. He and employee relations have told me that these are very unusual circumstances since they involve complaints from the internet and not a situation that took place in the parks. They have not delt with this before so they are trying to set a precedent. My manager has made it clear, however, that they think I'm a great CM and don't want to lose me. He does not believe the situation is a terminable offense. I guess at this point no news is good news, except that the waiting is torture.

WDW casting didn't know about the suspension. A few days ago, they called and told me they have a fulltime position for me in Fantasyland attractions. Of course, they discovered they can't offer it to me until things are resolved, but they are keeping me on the list for the next opening.

Last week, I auditioned at Universal and although I wasn't called back for an actual show, I was hired for their Halloween Horror Nights. I'll be in one of the haunted houses- should be great fun. I was also called back for a fitting for one of their animated street character roles- I don't know which I'm eligible for yet. The fitting is Monday. (Don't worry, I can still work at Disney and perform at Universal- they told us that back at Traditions)

Hmm.. a fittend animated street character..

You could be Betty Rubble, the Betties that I have seen have the darker hair!

Also maybe, Scooby! I'd love to be Scooby. Could also be Crash Bandicoot, Also the Eliza Thornberry/ Angelica looked about average height as well.

Well HHN is a great fun, and its an acting position. You will be working, and have a great time doing that.

Sorry to hear about your work situation, and hope you at least find something until October.. hey, retail and waitressing looks good after a while as well.

I hope Disney management reaches a decision soon, so that you don't miss out on another opportunity.

And that's great what you Manager said about your performance. :)

Hang in there Angie! I was hoping you would be back to work when we get down next week. We arrive Friday. I think we will probably not go to the MK until after the weekend though, except to maybe see Spectro on Saturday night, if it is on late enough. We have CDS tickets that night.

great to hear from you Angie. All of us are pulling for you. We all know how much this means to you. Good Luck.

I'm a firm believer of no news is good news, but Disney sure is dragging their feet.

What you might want to start doing is asking for letters of recommendation, especially from that manager who keeps complimenting you, just in case. Never hurts to be prepared.

Glad you got the position at Universal, you never know what doors that can open up for you!

Good luck!

Good for you, Angie! At least if you're working at Universal I'll get a chance to see you!

I hope you get what you want. Hang in there!

What's the background on this? How has the Internet hurt Angie?

Good luck, Angie. Hang in there and remember that your goal is to be a performer, not necessarily to work at a theme park. Explore other opportunities in the Orlando area as well.

Hi Angie. I'm glad to hear you will be working at Universal. This could lead to a position that you will really enjoy. Please keep in touch. :D

I've been thinking about you too AngieB. I sure want everything to work out your way. I'm sending a pm.

Glad to hear you're okay! Even when I'm not "close" to people, I sure notice when they are missing! I hope it all works out with Disney - heck all they have to do is read your posts to know how much you love it there!

Hey Angie, I just wanted to let you know that I'm rooting for ya! Hope they call you back right away.
