Anger Management

I've recently realized, I might have a slight anger management issue.

So I was wondering, how do you deal with anger?

I stay away from people when I get mad.
This doesn't work when I'm mad at my family in the morning and have school.

I bottle all of the anger up then unleash it in appropriate situations.

i actually do really well with anger.

i usually just think about the situation and either realize i was wrong, or the person just made a bad judgement call, or that the whole situation is just silly and shouldn't matter.

but when i'm really angery, i do tend to rant about people behind their backs.
i'm not one for confrontations, so that's how i have to get out my feelings.

i used to bottle it up but then i'd just release it on some poor innocent person.

i think i may have anger management issues. the first thing i do when i get angry is slap you. then i will argue with you. physical fights too. i just don't stoop low enough to bring family into it or anything(someone did that to me once boyy was i mad)

When I'm mad, I read. It really helps.

A lot of people at my school have anger management issues.

I go in my room and complain to myself about unrelated things that make me mad, such as when you have to work in groups and YOU end up doing all the work :headache: . I'm not being mean to anyone else, and it actually does make me feel happy :rotfl:

I have a stress ball. I squeeze really hard. This one girl at my school rips off the heads of barbie dolls when she's at home and is mad.:rotfl:

Do not bottle up emotions. It is very unhealthy to keep emotions locked up inside of you, because it just builds up. If you are angry about something, tell someone. There has to be someone out there that you can talk to (family, friends, teachers, counselors?)

Also, watch the movie Anger Management (Adam Sandler, Jack Nicholson). That might help. Good luck.

Athletics.

Not like I unleash it on the field, ha, I'm not that good. But it relaxes me.

i realy dont think much about it. im angery for a while and it wheres off thats it no big cheesy math problem.

Scream into a pillow. That usually works. :rotfl2:

6 words. And an & symbol. I also write when I'm angry.

Grey's Anatomy. Desperate Housewives. Brothers & Sisters.

Exercise. I love contact sports because you can just let it all out.

When I can't exercise, like if I'm in school, I just yell at the first person that dares contradict me. Just today I yelled at two boys, a girl, a teacher, and my coach. Often I have a valid argument though, and I can be an incredible witch with a capital B when I'm angry.

People think I'm shy and quiet, but if they get on my bad side, they get scared of me. Let's just conclude with the statement: I speak my malevolent little mind when I'm mad, and I made a boy cry once, when I didn't even touch him... :confused3

That is me.

Me also, I have flipped on disrespectful teachers and people later tell me they have never seen me so mad/violent.

I know I have anger mangement issues. Typically I remove my self from the room/situation so I dont do something I will regret later. Then when I get home I work out for a while.
