Lars624..Trumpets rule!! Congrats to Matt on his performance. I went to ensemble once and was very happy with our 2. I think I did solo once too. It was one of those I was so scared out of my mind the whole experience is very fuzzy!(It's been so long ago I can barely remember the details.)
firstmickey...I here we are getting a heat wave today too. Can't prove it by me yet though. I think it is still freezing out there!!

Eventually I figure out who everyone is and I'll use names like others do. I'm a little sore today from my workout yesterday. I go again Monday night to be tortured some more though so I must like it I should clean house and finish getting the Christmas decorations put away, but I'm sleepy and don't feel like it. It will require more energy then I want to use right now. Besides the ladder is in the garage and it is cold out there. I can't reach the plant ledge without it and learned that it is not a good idea to stand on the back of the couch. Even then I'm really too short to reach the things. I think I will take a Nazarene nap and then work on the house.

Marsha - that sounds like an interesting combination from the liquor store. I'm not much of a hard liquor type person though unless you are making margaritas! That is too funny how you and Spb know the same area.

Lars - Congrats to Matt!!! LK and I will be meeting FM for lunch on Wednesday. Hopefully there won't be any bad weather.

Carolyn - my real name is Lorraine, but most of the time everyone just uses SB. It took me a little while too to learn names.

Brian - where did you go

Took DD to register for pre-school today. She was very shy and wouldn't talk to anyone. I hope this is not a preview of things to come. DH took DS to the Sno-Zone today. It is a big hill where you can bring your snowboards or rent a tube and fly down the hill. They have a toe rope to pull you back up, otherwise I don't think DH would do it. Have a great day all!

I've not been anywhere......honest. DW went to Chicago this weekend to celebrate her birthday with her mother and sisters and I've been in charge of 'holding down the fort' til she gets back.
Was I supposed to be somewhere?

That sounds really neat. I hate climbing back up the hill. But do they tie this to your TOE to tow you up?

Carol - actually the tubes get connected to the rope so it pulls you up in the tube. my DS has been doing this since he was 4 - he is fearless.

Tried to check in earlier, but couldn't get in!
Billy and I went to the gym and had a great workout, then we went to lunch at the new Quiznos for Turkey Sante Fe Subs!
They are SO good!!

Yesterday we bought a new pick up truck. Billy's been wanting another truck for work. It's a 2000 GMC 4X4. That's about all I know. It's an automatic though, so I could drive it.

Well, I did have a clever post all typed up before church this morning, but then my computer locked up and I lost my post.

Donna - I think I shocked your DH at first when I asked him if he was Donna's husband! Yes, you had told me he was a coach. I knew you were working, so I waited until the game was done to see which coach was rounding up a son around 6 years old! Can't wait to meet you on Wednesday!

Sandi - congrats on the new truck! A lunch downtown sometime sounds great, too.

I am hungry for good Mexican food tonight. I don't think we are going out, though, so I'll have to get something else together.
