Morning Everyone!

Welcome Carolyn!:wave2:

Sandi - sorry to hear Mary Jo is too busy for us :teeth: . Just kidding, glad she found happiness in scrapbooking.

Steph - can't help w/ your rodent problem - All I will say is yuck!:crazy2:

Marsha - I have to go to the grocery store too, but I can't bring myself to go out in this weather.

Trying to avoid doing any cleaning today. Going to my DH's cousins house to watch the game tomorrow - all we have to bring is a case of beer - easy enough.

Good morning !

Marsha - I was just reading the rude Northeasterner thread and saw that you grew up in Springfield VA .... my sister has lived there for 13 years so I've been down there quite a few times .....
she lives off of Huntsman Blvd if that rings any bells !

Happy Saturday everyone ..... Go Patriots ! (getting warmed up for tomorrow )

Good morning everyone!!! Just been very busy doing stuff and finally had a chance to get back in :)

Hi Carolyn!!! Welcome to the group!!

Sandi, glad that Mary Jo is okay. I was just thinking about her and wondering where she went off to. I hope you guys have fun scrapbooking!

Not sure what I am up to today... I think I'll have to get moving soon though... we've been knd of relaxing all morning with the cats in bed... Gwenie is now asleep in Luis arms :)

Have a great day all!

Sandy, it is a small world, isn't it! I would love to say "I know where that is, but I would be fiubbing, although with that name I would venture a guess that it's in Orange Hunt, more in West Springfield, but I could be wrong. And here is another interesting bit of small world trivia, our own Angel Helenabear's DH Luis and I (and my DH) went to the same high school, albiet many years apart! And my DH is getting ready to go to VA for a job start for his company at the school I went to 7th and 8th grade in Springfield. I bet all the Angels could play 6 degrees of separation.

Boring day here, we did the oil change, and the groceries, then hit the liquor store. I must have looked like a lush, I bought Amaretto, Butterscotch Scnapps, Coconut Rum, and Chocolate flavored Vodka. Pete got Jagermeister. And beer at the grogery store. Oh yeah, we also picked up his shirts and pants at the dry cleaners. We went to Boarders first and I bought 6 books, something to keep me occupied for a few days. I tell you, I can't wait to move into my own house, and start doing what I want to do. This not being able to paint or hang pictures or anything is already old. Well it is only 4 more months! June 1st, and I get to move.

Lorraine, you must go out, there will be no milk, bread, or toilet paper left soon, then what will you do??????

Pete is sleeping, the dogs are sleeping, I think I will go read.

GO PATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EB had her soccer game about a mile from Gillette Stadium this morning so even though they're playing in Houston tomorrow we sent some good vibes their way!

I'm home for the evening for the first time in a long time. EB & I were supposed to go and have dinner with grandma and the boys but I just have too much to do here.

Lew went to see his dad and said he's looking quite well, probably the best he's seen him since he's been here. Still no idea how long he'll be at the nursing home.

Since it may be some time before he's home.....MIL will be staying with us for a while. The SIL she had been with needed a break yet thinks MIL should not be alone....so her ideal solution is our house...where's she'll be alone for most of the day while we're at work & school!

She'll be sleeping in Matt's room so I have to go do some cleaning. Matt will be bunking with EB. Not ideal by any stretch of the imagination but I really feel sorry for MIL. She's being shuffled around so much. :(

Good Evening Everyone....................
Matthew had Band Solo & Ensemble today. He & a friend did a trumpet duet~the judging lady commented that their teacher had given them a piece that was too difficult for 9th grade musicians but they still managed to get a score of 2:D They were happy with the red ribboned medal instead of the blue. DH & I took Matthew out to dinner then picked Meg & Dylan up from the IL's house in time to come home & watch the Red Wings make an amazing come back~a 4-4 tie is better than a loss!!!:D

Hi all... sure missed you this evening :)

Lars, I am glad that the kids did so well at solo & ensemble! Hard music or not, that is a great score!!! Congrats to them :)

Bingo Marsha ! My niece and nephew went to Orange Hunt elementary and West Springfield High ..... chocolate flavored vodka sounds interesting - and I'll be right over for some coconut rum and pineapple juice (well maybe I'll wait 'til afternoon;) )

Have a great day everyone - Go Pats !

Morning Everyone!

No coffee yet, so I'll be back to catchup.

just not the same without the men, huh????

Good Morning Angels and TWM,

Had to work 12 hours yesterday but it wasn't a bad day.
Fell asleep on the couch last night trying to watch Seabiscuit. Guess I will have to try again!

Supposed to be a little warmer today. 32. I can hear big pieces of ice falling of the roof. (that's what woke me, I thought one of my kids fell out of bed or something).

My DH met LK4 yesterday at DD's basketball game. I want to know how she knew it was him???? (although I think I told her that he was one of the coaches). He said she was very nice.

I am having a lazy day today, but I think DH wants to take the kids sled riding since it is a little warmer. I should go too but I am not a winter person.

CS: that sounds like a nice Valentine gift.

Marsha: what time is happy hour?

Ranatra: sorry you can't make it to lunch. We will have to do another outing soon so you can come.

Welcome Carolyn!

Have a nice day everyone:

She is very nice!!!:D I hope you'll get the chance to get together with her soon!

Sandy - I thought so! I actually lived in West Springfield for a few years, I went to West Springfield HS for my freshman year, and my old sister graduated from there. Washington Irving Intermediate School, sounds familiar, huh?

Well, I found the boards the hard way this morning, my favorite didn't work. Other than the super bowl, I don't think we will be doing much today. Pete is finding it very hard to just do nothing. He is itching to get the basement started on the new house. He has a hard time waiting!

Have a wonderful day, all.

Good morning everyone.

When I finally got home last night, the boards were down again. Just time for a quick catch up now then off to church.

Laura, Congrats to Matt on his solo and ensemble performance. We have that coming up in 3 weeks.

DH took DS skiing today. They will be home in time for the Super Bowl. DD and I are going to church then St. Perkins for a second service. I might go to AC Moore. Want to be home for the Super Bowl and Survivor.

Catch you later.

just not the same without the men, huh????

huh???? Is this one of those........
If a man posts alone on the Angels thread, do any of the Angels listen?.........things?:p

Marsha - clicking from my favorites list didn't work either. My sister taught math at Irving for years - now she's still in education but in a planner/mentor/evaluator kind of role ........ small world syndrome again at work !

Thanks for the Survivor reminder Carol ... although once the game comes on I'm sure I'll be reminded countless times :)

I'm just hanging out at home today - if I'm a good girl I'll do some vacuuming and dusting .... but I've been known not to be good....

Have a great day everyone .... :D

Finally able to get on....thanks E!!!

No time to post though.....Lew's on his way home with MIL.

Good morning all!!!! Lazy day here for me... probably won't get out much to do anything, but do plan to watch the Superbowl for the pregame show and the commercials only. And my head will be chopped off, but I haven't decided who I might cheer for (I'm a fan of other teams, if you know what I mean) Any suggestions?
