Busy day here. After finally getting DS on the bus, I had a meeting w/ other moms who are helping at the Valentine's Day party. Then off to get a quick lunch w/ DD and then to her story day at the library. Still need to get to some stores, but I think I will wait until DH gets home so I can shop in peace!

Cut to Lorraine happily shopping away oblivious to the fact that she has been brave/foolish enough to leave her children in the hands of Daddy!

Or maybe it will be more like the commercial where she comes home to see them watching/acting out the Lion King or another Disney movie....way past their bedtimes.

Thank goodness it isn't too cold out today. Leah will be home pretty soon, and we are going to try and go to a few neighbor's houses to try and sell some cookies.

**sigh** I am looking at the TV, and it is covered in dust again. I'll be glad when the summer is here and I don't need to use the furnace!

Hi Everyone~
I went to my usual Wednesday breakfast this morning & got some very sad news.......one of my friends has had a reoccurance of her breast cancer Please keep my dear friend Kelly in your prayers. She had a radical masectomy about 4 years ago but apparantly there were some cells that they missed that have grown & her ob nurse found the lump. Since they took her lymph nodes last time they can't test them again...too much risk...so she's had a bunch of different kinds of scans. NExt Wednesday they'll go in & scrape around where the lump was & then she'll need chemo & radiation.

Oh Lars. I'm so sorry. You KNOW that I will add Kelly to my prayers. Breast cancer is a cause that is near (unfortunately) and dear to me. I'll be thinking of you, too. Hopefully she caught it early before it spread.

I am doing google searches currently, but just in case... does anyone here knitt... I want to learn but I am having trouble with something.... starting the dang thing!! I have directions but they aren't helping me at all
