In 1977, I had been out of college for 2 years working. OMG, I am OLD!

In 1977 I was 16 years old. I used to babysit for kids the same age as some of you. That makes me feel really old. I shouldn't think of it as old, should I? It just means I am wise and experienced. Yeah, that's it.

Congratulations Carol! I've been looking forward to your post all day. You know how to build anticipation!

Hey E, my Dad's birthday was February 4th. I bet I was eating birthday cake on the day you were born! He was a special guy and you are special too. Must be a good day to be born.

Carol, wow, over 5000 posts. Quite an accomplishment.

OK for me in 1977, I was pregnant with my son and gave birth to him in August, I had been married just a year, I had been working for 6 years at the phone company, and I was living in a huge house with my husband, my parents, my 2 younger sisters, and the youngest sister's BF. And 3 cats, a snake, and 2 poodles. What a time that was. I remember seeing Star Wars, one of the few movies I had seen at the theater. We did not go out much then, and that still holds true.

Pete is going to Lincoln, NE on Monday, woo hoo, coming back Tuesday evening and then going to Delaware for the day Wednesday. After hearing my reports on the houses, he has come to the conclusion that we probably do have the best deal available. We will really know tomorrow when I see the only other new construction in the vicinity. Another TH, but then there is this other totally interesting condo, if you ever see Keeping Up Appearances on BBC America or on PBS, you may be reminded of that. Click
here I am intrigued with it, but Pete is not so sure. It is on the viewing list for tomorrow.

It's a dreary, rainy day here. It's supposed to rain today, tomorrow and Sunday. We need the rain, so I won't complain, yet. The kids are sorry that it's not cold enough to snow.
