I remember seeing Disney's Angels In The Outfield on TNT once with my mom and she really liked it as did I and I even got it for Christmas two weeks after I saw it and I learned that Disney's Angels In The Outfield was a remake of a film that was made in the 40's with the same name. And Tony Danza and Danny Glover made a winning team and Christopher Lloyd was full of humor as Al the angel who gave the California Angels the spirit to win each baseball game. I also learned there were two more sequels of Disney's Angels In The Outfield called Angels In The Infield and Angels In The Endzone made. Did this movie inspire Disney to buy the California Angels and rename the team Anaheim Angels like Disney created the actual Anaheim Mighty Ducks hockey team after the Mighty Ducks movies became a hit?
