Good afternoon everyone!

Just got back home from a little last weekend before WDW shopping...it was really rather pleasant, I guess everyone here in MO. is getting ready to sit in front of their TV's to watch the Deadbirds, er, Redbirds play baseball this afternoon.
Anyway, got the things I needed for my travel kit and I am all ready to go....packed and all!
E! Sounds like a great Sat. afternoon.....
Spent some of my time this morning fixing my computer.....my CPU fan was in it's last stages of life and making horrible noises so I went looking for one last week when it started 'singing'...but nobody stocks the kind I needed, so I had to order it online. (Someday I would like someone to explain to me why people who work behind the counters at these stores automatically assume every person that walks up to them is a complete and utter computer moron and has no clue what they are talking about. Although I didn't let him, he would have have been perfectly happy to argue with me about what I "really" needed as opposed to what I said, and had in my hand btw, I needed. ) The fans ( bought two ) came yesterday so I replaced it today and it is much happier!

Hi. Went shopping this morning. Loved the new store! Watched the OU game and it was a nail-biter. While I watched, I finished my rug, so the new bathmat is in place in our bathroom.

Now, the group is all cleaned up from the weed-n-bleed. David and Allen both gave blood. We're heading back to the same store. Allen wants the OU jacket I bought for David for Christmas and David wants to pick out a hoodie. Then we're going for dinner at the in-laws. I'm hoping to make a quick stop at Sam's on the way home. Anyone need anything?

It's a beautiful day here. The sun is shining and the air is crisp and cool. Ah, I love the fall! Hope everyone is having a terrific day. I'll check back tonight.

Movie was interrupted by a phone call from my dad. He'll be having an icky colonoscopy on Nov 2nd and I told him I can take a half day off to make sure I can be there when he is released. It's nice to be living close to him sometimes...

Yep Brian, that is a nice day for me... a bit "behind schedule" now but I should easily get the other two in still today

Um a 6 am coffee time? Yeah if I was up that early I would be needing coffee myself. I'll be happily sleeping for at least another hour or so

Missy, thanks, but I am good I love fall as well... at least when it isn't drearly like it was today. The trees are so beautiful right now... hopefully if it stops raining, I'll go take some pics by the river tomorrow.

Bethany, that sounds like us today... we ran out to Panera to get something for dinner (healthy take out ) and I wound up getting my wool coat out for that instead of my leather Now I am in bed all cozy.

Way behind on my movie watching... 2 very long phone calls got in the way so I am *now* just starting on Return of the Jedi... I can't wait to see my Ewoks at the end

We got Allen's jacket and made a quick trip to Sams where I bought my first Christmas CD. Now if I could just get Allen to let me listen to it. He believes in no Christmas music until Thanksgiving. I'll make him stretch that a bit this year, as we are going to see Andy Williams in his Christmas show in mid-November.

Had dinner at the in-laws. FIL is really going downhill. It's sad to see. He isn't going to therapy anymore and it's getting harder for him to get in and out of his wheelchair. I worry that he'll get to a stage that she can't care for him alone.

My neck is really tight. Guess I won't stay here long. Just wanted to say hello. Hope you all had a good day.

Sorry to hear about your FIL Melissa; I know it's difficult.

Tell Allen that this Alan's wife/family has been listening to Christmas music since early September.

Mrs. AA told me that it's time to start breaking out Christmas videos because she didn't get to see them all last year.

We begin "Judgment House" for our church and select guests tomorrow night and then begin for the outside on Wednesday night.

Before registration officially opened we had already pre-sold 750 reservations, so I think folks have missed it.

The sets that have been constructed in this huge empty building are wonderful!

We will run 4 hours a night for the next two weekends and I am working in "Heaven" where the only character in the room is Jesus addressing the crowd. I am one of three Jesusus...or is it Jesi? Or am I just being blasphemous for even asking ? Either way, we get to work out our own schedules.

back from the wedding which was very nice and a lot of fun.


Just wanted to take a minute to post quickly.......

Right before I left for the wedding I received my wonderful angel exchange package from..........Mr. Bama!

Thank you so much Alan! It was wonderful!!!!

I got fall leaves garland and three mini resin pumpkins (which will look great on my mantle), candy corn, a stuffed pooh with a red fall leaf outfit on, a scrapbook paper and sticker kit ....(lime green of course! ), a set of scrapbooking pens, an Alabama pen......., a desk calendar, a card with a poem called One Hundred Years from Now.
I also got the first book in the Mitford series....which made me very happy because while I have already read the whole series.....I have most of them but not the first one.....so I will enjoy having the complete set now! (I love those books...Jan Karon is the author).

ok...wait there is more! LOL
I got an amoosing christmas ornament that says 2004 and has (what else?) a moose on it .....

and two figures which he said represented us....lol.
The first is a Pilgrim man with a beard and praying hands and says give ye thanks and the second (and this is my very favorite thing.... )......is a Willow Tree Angel (called with Affection) and she is holding a CAT!!! How cool is that?

My parents were here when I got the box (they babysat for me) and my dad was a little freaked out by the whole thing.
He said (and I quote....LOL!)......you mean some man you met on the internet sent you a present????? Why would you give your address to some man you met on the internet? Why is he sending you presents? LOL!! So I had to try to explain it all to the poor man before I left.....I still think he doesnt get it.....lol!
(but he doesnt have a computer either). My mom told us to go...she would help him figure it out! lol!

I'm relieved that you enjoy the Mitford series. I'm actually one or two books behind but hopefully can catch up soon. (We have to wait for the Talking Books program to get them on 4 track tapes)

Mrs. AA convinced me to try the first one and I thought I would be bored to tears.

Brian and I took care of breakfast this morning...but the line for Jamaican Blue Mtn. forms behind me!
Pumpkin or Blueberry Muffins this morning. Lou~for you, we'll see what we can scrounge up in the way of soft mushy gruel.
I know I'm a bit late in the wisdom teeth horror stories department...but my here's my story:

I had 2 wisdom teeth removed the week after Neil left for basic training. I only had local anesthesia, and very vividly remember the dentist standing on my chest and pulling for all he was worth....I'm with you Lou, I think those roots reach all the way to your toes......
The surgeon asked if I wanted to save the teeth....so I did, and mailed them to Neil at Basic Training......is that romance or what????

No rest for the wicked here today. We have a soccer tournament from 11-4. Good thing the race was last night. The boys aren't really happy though, as the Patriots play at 1:00.

I was asked to work the "early shift" again this week, Mon-Wed, so I'll be missing the riddle yet again. E! has graciously offered to do Tuesday's riddle for y'all.

Oh, and BTW, all fall exchange packages should be mailed by now. Mine will get in the mail on Monday afternoon.

Wow, what a great pacakge Donna!! Too funny about your dad. Mine is quite cool about it all (he even knows I talk on the phone and share rooms w/ y'all!) but my sister... she's the one who thinks I am nuts
