Okay for those of you who took the practice test, yesterday's picture was of BTMRR taken from The Liberty Belle Steamship. Correct answers in order of accuracy and least number of attempts were:
E!
Cami
Gail
Donna
Lars (finally and with God knows how much help and cheating)
(And I can't remember if they got it but MP & Bethany tried as well. I'll keep better score when it counts!)
Yep, lucky you Donna... I had to rely on my poor memory of that place I never visit when I am there... except I did go there in Dec... to make my 11 year old cousin happy
OK, so my first guess was wrong. But Sam got it on our 3rd guess....I had to decipher what he was explaining to me.
I give the kid credit, we never went to this place. So how he knew what is was is beyond me.
you dont know how true this is. We will be somewhere and he can associate anything with DIsney.
At the Ren Faire he went on a hand powered spinning ride 'this is kinda like Dumbo, only those ladies are pushing it instead of a machine'
When we were in Texas 'this is kinda like Frontierland at Disney'
and on and on. Makes for some interesting converstations.
Also wanted to add:
Just back from taking the kids to see their classrooms.
Kaitlin is a little nervous about starting middle school and we dont know anyone who had her teacher before, but when we walked in her classroom....there was a large poster of Cinderella's castle on the wall with a quote about reaching your dreams....and a large Mickey balloon on another wall......
She looks at me and says: well....I guess anyone with the castle and Mickey in their room is OK with me!
(can't argue with that!!)
Donna - you know what they say about assuming...............
Lou - I think you contest will be easier for those who have been there lately..........I did know BTMRR since it's my favorite ride, but I wasn't on whenever you posted the pic.
The IL's came over and took us to lunch at TGIFridays. DS is going back to school next week, so they thought we could all get one last lunch together. Now I'm stuffed.
Very hot and humid outside today. The plumber came over to look over where he is going to install the line for the pool heater. I can only imagine what it is going to cost - he said he will call back later today or tomorrow.

Then I think anyone who loses should get there immediately so that they are better prepared next time!
And hey when we play for real you don't have to send an answer right away. Do it whenever you can. We've got all week. I'm just trying to get everyone ready!
And Lars checked in with the right answer on the first shot this time.
So it won't matter who is first to give the correct answer when we are playing your game Lou? Just trying to get clear on the instructions before the game begins. I'm rather proud that I'm up there with folks who just came back. I haven't been in the parks since spring of 2001. I just got to go to the AK lodge and DTD last spring.
Mom decided not to go to Kansas City today. She says she told them on the phone that it makes more sense for her to come during the week when my cousins have to work. So I guess she may go take a turn in a few days. No change in my uncle's condition that they can see.
Amy threw a light tan pair of shorts in the dirty clothes with a purple sharpie in the pocket. I didn't catch it and washed them that way. We had laundry with the measles! You should have seen her shorts! Can you believe that I think I've saved everything? I just went to work with one of those bleach pens. Luckily it was a load of whites, so bleach is okay. I'm thinking I'm a laundry pro! I know, I'm leaving myself wide open for comments, but I said it on purpose.
