Lou - you are so right about getting on the computer when i'm not taking care of the kids. Shannon passed out on the couch right before dinner was ready, and Brendan went to dinner w/ the neighbors.

Got a call this afternoon that my DH's cousins son was in a terrible car wreck last night. he was in the back seat, not wearing a seat belt, and was thrown from the truck. he broke his back in two places and is all doped up right now. they are looking to do surgery on monday, then they will know more about his prognosis. he is only 15.

E, my brother suggested that maybe Mom should stay with her best friend when she goes back. She lives a few miles away. That way she could do her shift and spend time with the family, but not make my aunt have a houseguest. I think that's smart and considerate. It also gives Mom an out when things get stressful. What do you think?

I think that is a *very* smart idea for her to stay with her friend. It could be perfect for any type of break she would need from it all. Just I know during times like that it can get stressfull all around and maybe time with her friend could also help lift her spirits as well if needed!

Dave called... he's coming to Columbus but staying with a different friend this time (honestly I must say I am happy about it) but now I have to decide if I feel like going out with them all or not *sigh* Hate feeling pulled liek that

I am sitting home alone tonight. Dh and Nick went to the inlaws tonight and will be gone all night. DH is practicing his dealing skills for a card game Saturday. He is filling in for another dealer and if he does well enough may get asked to deal on a regular basis. The tips will be great spending money for Disney

Well before I call it a night I thought I'd let everyone know that the second picture was Conservation Station (or Rafiki's Planet Watch) at Animal Kingdom. Quite a few of you got it on the first shot.

Thank you all for your well wishes and we truly hope we can all go there together someday at the same time! Talk about a hurricane!

Star - i try to volunteer at classroom parties to get to know the other moms. has really helped me and i've made some nice friends.

MP - i think that is a wonderful idea for your mom - anything that is stress free is great.


Thanks for all you well wishes. I talked to my MIL who went to the hospital and she said that they say he will be paralyzed from the waist down - although, i told her that there have been miracles w/ patients whose doctors tell them that. She also said that the top of the truck was crushed, and he might have been more severly injured had he stayed in the truck.
