MP - and prayers for you all at this difficult time

Good morning all!

Good morning everyone.

Another busy day. Andrew's at band camp, Jack left for work, and Sarah is asleep. I am going to work this morning then home to do more errands and shopping and cleaning with Sarah. I am not sure we can get it all done by Sunday. She needs to go to MVA and get her license changed since she is 18 now. She has to sign up for an absentee ballot for the election. We still have some shopping to do. We wanted to get pedicures (she came home with bad camp feet) but I don't think they will do it if you have open cuts or scratches on your feet, and she does.

Just a part of life. You have to let go, at least that is what I keep telling myself. And I have several friends, including Sandi and Marsha, who have been through this before me and survived.

MP, so sorry about your uncle. I hope he doesn't suffer.

I am sorry I don't have time to catch up with everyone. A :wave2: will have to do.

Morning Everyone,

 to you MP...hope you have safe travels and are comforted by your faith and your family during this difficult time.

We're off to the ortho today for our 1 week recheck.....im more nervous about this than the initial break....positive thoughts that it is healing and doesn't need to be reset, would be appreciated.

catch you all later.

Steph, everytime you say ortho, I think orthodontist. Good luck to you and AJ today.

And I forgot to say,

:bounce: Congratulations Laura :bounce:
I am glad to have known you through 9000 posts.

smart move ;)

Carol, that's interesting about the drivers license... here you can keep your first one for 5 years or until you turn 21. After that it's every four year.

Steph, best wishes to you and AJ today. I hope it will be a good appt for you all.

Long week here... I can't believe it is only Thursday and not even lunch time yet

MP, so sad about your uncle. Hugs for you and your family.

Carol, I believe that my DS coming back more than once really helped out with the sad mom feelings! Actually, I cry every time I leave him or he leaves me, even if it's just a weekend visit. I never had a problem when he went to school, I guess that was because he was in daycare at 7 weeks. I was used to dropping him off somewhere. Since I am not the SAHM type, I looked forward to going back to work. I must say that I have adjusted very well this time, I am a SAHM, aren't I?

Steph, hope all goes well at the Dr. The ortho at our health plan was very popular with the kids when Ian was small. He was always the first one to sign the hard casts. I am glad we only had to see him 3 or 4 times, only one break.

 to everyone else

Lars - forgot to say CONGRATS ON 9000!!!

Donna will be getting there sometime soon..............:teeth:

Steph - good luck for AJ!

No news overnight. David tried on his sport coat and pants. The pants are too small. Yikes. So after showers, we're off to see if we can find pants that are the right color and length. No fun. Hope I don't end up having to hem pants. Wish the pants he usually wears on Sundays would go with this jacket.

I think the rest of us have appropriate clothes that fit, but I probably need to make sure the ones we want are clean.

MP...so sorry to hear about your uncle. Travel safe

Donna...WTG on 9000

as for the rest of the 5 pages I didnt read last night....I read them all but promptly forgot what I wanted to say in my reply. So just pretend this is a very well worded and well written reply.

We are down to the last few days before school starts, so we are really taking it easy. Unless we need soemthing, I dont plan on going out much. If the weather would warm up, we would go to the pool, but tis been too cool here to swim :(

Missy, good luck with the shopping... silly how we can remember to do things like that during times like that

Bethany, excellent reply!!!
