Good morniing all
A friend from the AOL scrapbook boards is in town for a convention, so I took her on a whirlwind driving tour of
Chicago . She had forgotten her camera, so she snapped most of these while I was driving. It cracked me up to see what fascinated her....trees, grass, sidewalks, brick buildings, tall buildings, actual water in the river, LOL. She said things in SanDiego are very dry. Color me clueless, but I was surprised to learn SD is actually a desert area. I always assumed it was a lush coastal town.
I also took her to Ed Debevics....for those that dont know it, it is a 50's themed restaraunt. The wait staff dresses up (last night there was a Mousketeer, Marylin Monroe, a bowler and a couple others) and they are very loud and rude.
Anyway, we had a very fun evening.
Todays plan is bowling and the library. The weather has cooled off a bit, it was very hot the past couple days. It looks like it might only be about 80 today.
Have a good day, Im off to find the riddle
