Bethany, I'm so sorry about your friend's brother.

Glad to read that things seem to be going well for the rest of you.

I have a sore throat today. I don't feel sick, so I suspect it's allergies. I was outside a lot this weekend and with all the rain I bet the mold spore count is up.

My new computer finally arrived. Now if I only knew how to set it up. Sigh. Allen can do that when he gets home.

Anyone have a good idea of what to do for our 20th anniversary? It's coming up on Wednesday and I honestly haven't given it much thought. We probably should forget gifts and give each other the computer. But I'd like to do something, if it's just dinner and a movie.

My weekend was just fine, busy to be honest but didn't appear to do all that much. Just plenty of tidying!

As soon as I posted here, the phone rang. DH said that he wants me to pick him up after work on Wednesday. He's made plans to take me out to dinner in the city.

LOL, Lou. Doing laundry will probably be on the agenda too. You know we've been out of town and have lots of dirty clothes we need to wash.

Mrs. AA survived the first day of Vacation Bible School without any major events.

I ran to a Dollar General at lunch to find a small basket so that flannel figure Paul can make his escape over the wall of the city during story time tomorrow!

Hiya,

Yes, I made this sig a while back but then Lou commented my Lilo and Stitch one was apt for our trip to Waikiki so I didnt' change it until now

I'm becoming a bigger fan of Fairly Odd Parents by the day, the two 'tags' I gave myself are Cosmo quotes too LOL. In fact, its pretty certain our boy kitten will be called Cosmo - yay for fairly odd parents!!!!

With that out of the way, forgot to say a big WELCOME BACK! to Merry and Lars - we missed you both!

All the piccies are great Lars, Rockport sure looks beautiful. Its now on my list of places to visit someday for definite!

Ok-So.....I drive to he post office to pick up my mail.......I had filled out the stop delivery order so they wouldn't bring it while I was on vacation....................and guess what.......they can't find it!!! They lost 10 days worth of my mail!!!!
Helloooo.........I'm thinking this could be a problem They said the carrier might have taken it......I checked the box that said not to deliver I'd be picking it up...........grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr................what am I gonna do now????? DH's gonna have a stroke

DH's stroke has been averted.....................the mail carrier had it........I told her I'd gone to the post office to get it & she checked my original parerwork to see that I had indeed checked the spot for picking it up She said that she was gonna get in trouble cause this isn't the first time she's done that.......I felt bad for her

Your mail carrier must be related to our paper delivery person. We requested that the paper stop while we were away....but he continued to deliver it each and every day.
