It's late and I'm tired. We're home safe and sound. Now we get to look forward to doing the same thing next weekend to pick them up. 
Sandi, the convention is usually in early June at the convention center in Arlington. It's right across the street from Six Flags and the Rangers ballpark is right next door. Parking is $5 a day unless you are in the hotel (which is probably already full for the dates of next years convention). I think it cost $8 or 9 to get in the door. Classes and crops are extra.
I'll post more tomorrow. I just don't have the strength to keep my eyes open.

My kids have different camps today...Kevin has Karate camp all week and Kaitlin has band camp 3 days this week and 3 days next.........fortunately there is some overlap so I will be kid free part of the day.......
Dan just left for Erie...so husband free too!
Mike: sounds like your banquet was a very good time. You should have done karaoke though.......I didnt think your singing was THAT bad on the riddle!
Bethany: hope you enjoyed your dinner last night with the girls.

I think I got my DD's cold. You're not supposed to catch colds in summertime, right?! We had bad thunderstorms last night. I'm going to be one tired pup today. Going to take the kids to the library to sign them up for the summer reading program.

Good morning all... storms kept me up too last night... they were awful for a while... it wasn't even thunder and lightening keeping me up, just the rain was pounding and the wind was bad. I'm beginning to not like the storms we are getting
LOL, Lars... yep a cute outfit beats a nap any day!! Fortunately I was able to go to sleep early to make up for my total lack of sleep

I couldn't fall asleep last night either with those storms. At least my flowers are getting plenty of water and are growing in rather nicely. 
Logan has summer band, too (with Kaitlin and Sue's DS Matt). On Friday, he and Lenny are leaving with the Boy Scouts for a few days in Gettysburg. I am going to go with Leah and my mom to visit my sister in Ohio for a few days while they are away. Next week is an overlap of summer band for Logan and Girl Scout day camp for Leah.
Gaspode, I hope we will get the chance to meet in November!

Will have to go check out the Boston meet pictures....
The play I went to see is "Call Me Madam" ....it was fun. It's at an old theatre that usually puts on a lot of older shows from the
40's and 50's era .... the next two shows are "Where's Charley?" and "Mack and Mabel" (????) .... most things I see there I've never heard of but are usually pretty good ..... there have been a few famous shows there "Brigadoon", "Finian's Rainbow" and "Sweeney Todd" ....... another theatre we have season tickets too does more of a Broadway series - recently saw "Oklahoma" and "The Full Monty" with "The Producers" coming in September...........here ends the theatre review

The Storms also woke me up last night so I decided to sleep in a bit.
Now I have to rush off to work. Wondering if it's going to be a pool day today? (I'll be done early) Oh yeah, and when is it going to quit raining? Seems like we're getting more rain than sun anymore.

We were playing in the rain yesterday afternoon with a slip and slide. This fool thing has a tunnel and walls at the end - all of which require inflating! Tomorrow, I buy a foot pump.
