Lars, I'm so sorry to hear about Matt's uncle. I hope they are able to control his pain.

Sandy, what shows are you seeing this summer? I am going to The King and I this Thursday with a friend from work, and then SB, Donna, Sue, and I are going to see Mamma Mia in July.

A big thank you to Sandi, Lorraine, Sue, Donna and families for coming over yesterday for the luau. I had a great time. The food was delicious. Thanks for taking all of the pictures, Donna! I enjoyed talking to MP, Lars, Lou, and Steph. Gail - we'll have to chat another time. Mr. Yepod - I hope you got SB's message - we were thinking about you!

Stephanie, that's a shame that they didn't keep those statues roped off. Bethany - was it you that had mentioned earlier about people climbing all over them in Chicago?

Had a great time yesterday, thanks LK for providing the house. My kids didn't want to leave either. Shannon passed out in the van about 10 min. after we left. The food was excellent - aren't we all good cooks! Not sure what we are doing today. The weather doesn't look good for later on. The grass needs cut, the deck needs sealed and I still haven't finished painting the porch 'cause of all the rain.

Maybe I should have another luau today! I have chicken, hot dogs, deviled eggs, potato salad, sloppy joes, spinich balls, fresh fruit, veggies, veggie pizza, and oriental salad in my fridge! Mmmmm....

Oh yeah, I still have tons of ice cream bars in the freezer. Forgot to give them to Donna and Sue when they left. Donna - I have the container of margarita salt here. Want to get together with the other bottle of margarita mix later this afternoon? Bring Dan the Cabana Boy along, too!

Have all the Angel con partygoers recovered yet?

I'd love to come to a scrapbooking convention too~~I'm thinking Angel-Con3........................because I heard that Angel-Con2 is at Lou's house

Carol~I made the Angel uniform for the Sun Goddess mailing/D
and I did eeny, meeny, miny, mo on the phone with LK while she pointed at each Angel in attnedance.....purely coincidence that Donna got it
I believe that each of the Angels should get a turn with the uniform I of coursef have already had a turn.....maybe it could be passed on to each Angel meeting

Today is gonna be a good day to get stuff done around the house...we have no set plans at all that rarely happens!!!

Sandi made them, and they were delicious! She'll have to post the recipe. I believe it has spinich, stuffing, mozzarella, garlic, and a few other ingredients mixed in.

Good Morning ALL!

Just back from Mass. We are all moving a little slow this morning.

Thank you to Lenny and Laura. We had a great time yesterday.
Of course I won't need to eat for a week. The food was great.

It was nice to finally meet Sandi. And to talk with everyone yesterday.

Thank you for all the food suggestions. Finally Nick is feeling a little better.

Laura I hope Matthew feeling better soon too. I'm not sure what was in the spinach ball exactly but it tasted good. Sandi will have to give you the recipe.

Prayers for Matt's uncle.

I think I will have to go have a nap.

Loved all the pictures of Angel Con. Glad you all had a great time. Wish I could have made it but there was no way I could have made that drive alone this time. Sorry I didn't get to call you all yesterday... I did fall asleep yesterday afternoon for a while and by the time I got up I had to get ready for dinner with my dad

Speaking of naps, I feel like I already need another one today

We saw 8 of the Mickey statues. They are in horrible condition. We watched a girl scout troop of 7 girls climb all over them for a picture. The total disrespect for them was so sad we thought for sure the arm would break off at any time. Did you guys know that each statue contains a hidden mickey?? We didn't either, most of them were pretty obvious thought, a silver mickey head just put on the statue any old place.

Stephanie...I felt the same way watching people step and climb all over them. Granted Sam stepped on a couple of the bases, but he was nothing compared to the babies stitting on Mickey's nose, kids hanging from his arms, etc. It was sad to see them getting so beat up. Im kinda glad we went and saw them the first weekend, Im almost afraid to think of what they will look like at the end of this tour
One of ours was already broken on day 2....the Regis Philbin / Note Dame one had it's flag broken. It looked like someone was trying to break it off to take it or something.

I'm hitting the road to Amarillo. This is David's last week of camp for the summer. Amy still has hers to go.

I think an angel group at the scrapbook convention would be too fun! I'll look into the dates for all of you.
