Morning Everyone!!

Well of course it's an honor to follow one of MP's post but they are so perfect that all I can say is "I WAS GONNA SAY THAT!!!" lol j/k

anyway MP I hope the clean sweep goes well and that you are both feeling better soon!!

Yesterday, we decided to have a productive day and clean out our 3rd garage. It isn't origional to the house but you wouldn't know it from the street. The thing about it is, it is walled off from the 2 car one and tends to get stuff stacked in it because it's out of site and out of mind. Just when we finish up I'm pulling the golf cart in and DH looks at me funny and I'm like thinking he's making fun of my driving so I start getting mouthy. Turns out he just noticed a funny noise when he turned the radio off. He heard a clicking noise coming from one of our AC units.


I have two central units in my house one for the up and one for he down. The downstairs went out yesterday, why does it always happen on a holiday??!! The man will be out tomorrow to fix it lucky for us it isn't too hot out today. If it gets too hot I'll just head over to my parents for the day, gets me out of housework tho!! hee hee

Sandi I loved the pics can't wait to see more.

Cami we have a lot of he same pics only um you're a much better photographer!!

guess that's it for me, no big plans Dh is working and Ds is already bored so I'd better go find something for us to do!

As for me, we are finally drying out. We have had some torrential rain the past couple days. But being the morons we are, we still went out both days and ran whatever errands needed to be done.
I just came in from the garage where I was starting to price stuff for my upcoming garage sale. I now need to wait for BIL to bring the long tables over so I can get everything set up. I cant believe the amount of junk we have. I sure hope a good portion of it sells.

Now I think we may fire up the grill for a quick dinner.

Allen's getting ready to fire up the grill. He's fixing a new chicken recipe, asparagus and corn on the cob. My contribution is a cherry cobbler and my famous layered salad. I think we're going to make pigs of ourselves!

Sorry that your air conditioning went out, Star. It is pretty nice outside, though. At least it didn't wait until August! Hope you can get it fixed tomorrow.

It's pretty quiet around here today. Guess that means everyone is out having a good time? Hope everyone has had a fun and safe Memorial Day.

Hi Brian!

Mmmmmm. Dinner was fabulous! I'm so glad I got that cookbook for Allen's birthday.

We're off to load up a mattress and box springs that my mom doesn't want any longer. We're hauling it away tomorrow, but the guys are going to load it for us tonight.

Then we'll come home for the cherry cobbler, if anyone has any room. LOL!

Loooong day here in Michigan....Matthew marched in the parade here in our town then we went to the next town to watch my niece march in their parade. Then dinner with all the inlaws.
The kids are now in bed & I'm gonna go tuck myself in & read a book

I'll save you a piece, Brian! I put carb smart vanilla ice cream on top. It was pretty tasty.

The kids are telling me they need clean shorts for their trip. Guess I need to go do a couple of loads, so we can pack in the morning. We just didn't get it done tonight.

I'm really stopped up again. I don't feel sick, but the pressure in my head is incredible. Thank you Allen for sharing this with me.

E- I noticed on the other thread that you gave up diet pop cuz of the sweetners they used. I drink diet rite, it's pretty darn good and it's made with splenda. I just thought in case you didn't know I'd fill ya in.

we grilled pork chops had some pasta, salad and corn on the cob, then went to Braums for some ice cream.

I never really got hot today thanks to the fans and the other working AC. They called and confirmed they will be here tomorrow lol guess I'll be here waiting on the dis.

I'm going to go watch my beyond borders movie catch ya'll on the flip side

It's back to work for me today. Can you believe it's June?
Our neighboorhood pool opened over the weekend and I got to sit down there for quite a while on Sunday (gorgeous day!) and catch up with everyone I haven't seen over the winter. Didn't see MaryJo though.

Hopefully life is back to normal around here today......three more weeks of school for my darlings!
Let's see, this week, baseball 3 days, ice cream social to meet the new principal one night, volunteer at move up night at the middle school one night, teach two swimming classes one night......hmmmm...sounding pretty normal

Our weekend weather was GORGEOUS!! Rainy today though..the only drawback to that....the lime I bought for the lawn is sitting in the driveway....soaking wet

....vacations over. Time to go back to work.
After nearly thirty years of doing one thing, it's time to do something else. I have to admit to being a wee bit nervous this morning, but we're going to mark this down as just a case of pre-game jitters....they usually go away once the game starts.
Thanks for all of good wishes, I really appreciate them.

I'm counting these last six months as a special blessing. I've been able to recharge my batteries ( they were woefully low! ) learn some new skills and most importantly, meet some wonderful new friends. And, I get to be an almost normal person (relatively speaking, of course).......regular hours, weekends and holidays off.....this is something that will certainly take some getting used to.

So, without further ado, and in keeping with Lou's 'touchy-feely' policy, let me just say THANKS to all the Angels and Cherubs for helping me keep my, ummmm......sunny side up..... and I'll see you around in the mornings on the riddle and after dinner, right here.
