Well I just returned from seeing some beautiful cats. There were Lions, Tigers (white), (yes, bears too but we're talking about cats here) Jaguars, and Ocelots.
We have a family membership to the zoo which includes the train rides and it's great for when you just want to make a quick trip. When you pay an annual admission you don't feel like you have to see everything each time.
However, since it was overcast and late in the afternoon, there were few people there and the animals were more active. Abigail and I had a great time.
I did get IM set up so if anyone wants to add me to their Buddy list feel free. (Anyone else hear crickets chirping in the silence?)
Oh did I mention that my friend is getting a new roof because he wants to sell his house? A crack house on one side and a vacant house on the other (where people make arrangements for payment of crack) have made it a less than desireable spot for he and his wife to continue living there.
