Amy's still happy with her flute, so we're not trading up yet. We actually did rent-to-own on a new instrument. Eventually she'll want the low B foot joint. Right now her flute doesn't have it. They say their hands in middle school are too small to play it. Happy hunting.
It's dark and dreary here this morning. I guess the sun decided to hide behind a cloud.
Amy does want to se HP in the worst way. She just wants to clean her room less. She may be hoping I'll weaken and we'll go. It's not going to happen though. Remember, I'm a mean mommy.
Off to get some work done. I have a lot to do this week. We're hoping to shampoo more carpet and do lots of spring cleaning. Yuck! But the results will be worth it.
Lorraine - we kept forgetting to use it! i don't think we'll be going back for quite a while and theres no point in it just sitting gathering dust. your more than welcome to it
LK, only if you think she'll stick with it, would I get an open holed flute. They are rather costly and I always dreamed of getting one myself. I would have bought one used and reconditioned it myself but having never replaced pads on an open holed (don't differently than closed hole) I decided to go against it. Anywho, an open hole does come with plugs for the hole for those to get used to it one by one, but really at this age, I would rather go for a cheaper one (the cheaper *good* ones that is ) and see how she feels later on. Some I know kept their old "junky" on in HS for marching band and used the good one for concert season. I would never take an open holed one for marching band though. Good luck looking and don't forget yahoo for auctions too
Another quick check in.
I stopped home for lunch and to let the dogs out. I'm babysitting my twin's poodle while she is camping. She's 1 1/2, still kind of puppyish!
It's SO gorgeous outside! Hot and Sunny!
I would love to be at the pool today!
LOL Lou! If I had to pick just one........ooooooohhhhh this is tough..........I'll pick #3!!! Even though #1 applies too! #2 wasn't right since I was the good twin!!
