Boards are so slow today!

Alan - i hope you are feeling better.

And speaking of sick, I didn't go into work today, not because of FIL, but Brendan was coughing all night and when he woke up I just decided that I should take the day off and take him to the doctor's. Good thing I did. He had to do an inhaler at the office because he was wheezing when he would breathe in. Then they sent us to the hospital to get a chest x-ray. It turns out that he has pneumonia! He is on 3 medications, and they think he will use the inhaler until summer and then see how things are going. He had to do an inhaler last year too, but not for that long. What a wonderful day dragging 2 kids in and out of the van all day. I'm going to keep him home tomorrow too.

Sorry so long.

First chance I've been able to get on all day!

Hope Brendan feels better fast....and his recovery isn't too hard on him mom either!

Enough of the sick sons......and no sick daughters allowed around here!

Lorraine, I am so sorry to hear that Brendan is so sick. Give the boy hugs and love for me and I hope he feels better soon!

Hi Gail, boards have been a real pita as well for me! I'm with you, no more sickies!

Hello!
The boards are finally up!

Busy day today out in all the snow and slush.

SB tell Brendan I hope he feels better soon.

Alan I hope you are on the mend.

Marsha and Steph Oil I hate writing that check. We buy ours in July for the winter when the price is hopefully down.

Bethany The tub story is too funny.

Sandi How's the arm doing. Great price on the bike.

I guess I better go vote.

Have a great evening. Hoping for better weather tomorrow.

Hiya,

I'll make this quick cos' I've hardly been able to get on all day *pouts*

Hello to all, go vote  if you haven't (I'm glad I managed to do that earlier!), my bed arrived, although we had to go shopping etc and so it didn't get made up tonight, hopefully tomorrow.

That's all folks!
Hope you are all well,
Cya,
Gaspode

Just quickly also wanted to say, Elaine, neither of us know where we are going LOL!

We had a trip booked in December but because we had to take a later flight out to FL we would have been landing back, having two weeks at work, then going away again! So we are moving that to next year and decided to take a trip at Easter (week before) to celebrate our four-year anniversary (:earseek: lol) and just Easter/holiday in general.

We haven't booked anywhere yet but have looked at a load of places and are gonna wait to the last minute and see where we end up - fun!!

Cya,
Gaspode

Hi gang! Logan is much better today, but unfortunately he decided to "share" with Leah, and now she is pretty sick. Gonna be another long night here. :(

Poor Brendan! I'll have to give him a call to see how he is doing.

AA, hope you are feeling better soon. Don't share your sickness with your family!

I have a few things to catch up on here at home, so I'll check in later. Hi to all that I missed.

Okay who broke the boards and what did I tell you about that?

Lorraine I hope your son feels better and it doesn't stress you out too much.

Look at the bright side.....you'll be home together on St. Pat's Day! :D

Laura, same to you with the infirmary you're running.

 to everyone else.

Wow, tough to get on the boards today on a day when I am snow bound!

SB: sorry to hear Brendan is sick

LK: sorry about Leah, hope it is not as bad a night as with Logan. Remember push clear fluids! (another freebie).

Melissa: great news about your bed finally coming! About time!

Just checked Dan's flight home and it is supposedly on time. It stopped snowing here so he should be able to get in OK.

 to everyone!

Lou - since I took off today, I have to go in tomorrow. DH is taking off to stay w/ the kiddies.

LK - i hope Leah won't be too sick tonight.

Gaspode - yay! you finally got your beds!

Donna - sounds like Dan wil be making it home safely.

Thanks for all your well wishes for Brendan. My SIL, who thinks she is a Doctor, was trying to tell me not to give the steroid medicine to him. I should have just told her that he was fine.

Hello. Who broke the DIS? Was is you, my pretty? Oops sorry, getting my movie lines confused.

Just talked to Pete, he is on the plane, waiting to push back in Chitown. I think it is still snowing, but it is windy, so it may just be blowing off the roofs.

Donna, I naver bought oil before December in my life, save for the cars and household things. It has been a new experience. Our new home has natural gas (go ahead men, give that one your best shot) so we will not be hedging the prices in June. It has been very inexpensive I think, total so far has been $698 for oil and 201 for electric. Maybe that's not to some people, but I am used to paying close to 150 every month for electric year round, so I am rationalizing it to be the same! I think electricity is a lot less expensive here than anywhere else I have lived, too.

Twins, so sorry to hear the kids are feeling poorly. Blame it on Alan, he came, they got sick, he conveniently skipped out!

Lou, did you say something? I see your name but alas, nothing shows up in the box.

I have to go put the flannel sheets back on the bed, The T shirt sheets are no way warm enough for Pete, and he wants a warm bed to get into when he gets in at midnight or so.

Tomorrow is Green Beer Day. If you drink too much green beer, do you get green pee?

Nice to see the boards up and running again, although I did have fun chatting this afternoon. I was happy to finally post a picture...hopefully I'll be able to find one Leanne finds a little more appealing. ;)
SB & LK - I hope the children feel better tomorrow, throats are starting to get a little scratchy around here too!
Lou - :p
Everyone else - :wave2:

Ummmm, where is the picture, sir?

Just a quick check in from me.....with a few Meghanisms.....or as I like to call it "things you don't expect your 4 y.o. to say:"

"Give me a high 5 Girlfriend"

"No eating here today, no eating here today, no eating here today.....we're on a diiiiiieeeeeeeeeeetttttt" (Finding Nemo??)

"Actually, I prefer the pink nail polish over the purple."

"Daddy, Mommy said you're a buttmunch" (okay, I'm PRETTY sure I said *a bit much* in this instance...but buttmunch fits so much better)

They are all good, but thank you for allowing me to test the power of my screen protector.

Oil - only took 83 gallons, and was 139.9 I'm happy it's over, 3 inces of snow, and I shoveled the front walk and back steps.

YAY the boards are fixed. Although I am in full blown vacation prep panic mode. You would think with the boards down I would have accomplished things today, but no.

MIL wanted to come out for lunch....oh goodie. After lunch I hooked her into watching Sam so I coud go get a pedicure and manicure. I got home from that at about 2 and proceeded to fall asleep while watching TV.

Sam is getting a cold, and for some reason looks like he has a black eye. He was rubbing it this morning, and now it is all puffy and slightly bruised.

Tomorrow I have to be at school all day. The teacher is doing a presentation on the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Its actually going to be very cool. She is dressing up as Sacajewea, a friend will be Lewis and they are bringing 3 Newfoundland dogs. They are going to tell the story to the kids as seen through the eyes of Seaman (the Newfie). As an added bonus, the teacher is bringing her 2 Newfs. Should be a lot of fun to have 3 150lb dogs in a room with all these kids. Oh, and the newspapers are coming out to cover it. The dogs are a great photo opp, and its the 200th anniversary of Lewis and Clark. So she asked me to call the local papers and ask if they were interested....both said yes. Perfect time for my kid to have a black eye, LOL

Lets see, what else. Oh yeah, the tub is fixed.

And I am leaving for WDW in 36 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

damn Marsha...I got 180 gallons...but mine was locked in at 1.15 this summer. 1.39 was his cash price today too

Yeah Brian, you need to show them all the picture!! You all looked great :teeth:

Steph, those are so cute, especially teh last one!

Melissa, that is so fun htat you are planning a trip like that! Have fun with the planning and I hope you go somewhere good :)

LK, I hope that Leah feels better quickly!

LOL, Lorraine, sorry that your SIL shuts her mouth ;)

Donna, glad to hear that Dan should make it home on time and okay.

Which leads me to Marsha... I hope he does okay getting home and enjoys the warm sheets.

Bethany, glad the tub is fixed :)

Still waiting for Luis to come home though... sometimes I really hate that he's IT :(
