Sandi - good luck with the invites. We were lucky enough that my mum is very good at clligraphy and adressed all our invites, place cards etc for us....looked very professional but was free!

My spray tan appears to have gone really well, nice golden colour and no streaks yet, wasn't a booth, the girl had a spray gun type thing and went round you

Visited with my nieces' very cute puppy named Emma.

Still cold but very sunny.

Going to church tonight.

Try to talk my husband into dinner reservations. This may take some effort.

I took Dylan to the looooong party (as my PIC referred to it) & spent the time while he was there walking around Target & Mervyn's~I got some unbelievable bargains!
Now DH wants to take me to dinner & a movie~gotta like that

I hope everyone had a good Saturday! & I hope that the LK clan did well in the Pinewood Derby! btw LK, you'll get to see Dylan's car when you're in town-he'll be finishing it up cause his derby is on the 28th.

Tomorrow is Logan's final pinewood derby. I love going to see these every year, so I will miss it. Logan, Leah, and Lenny all have cars that they will be racing. I hope they do well.

It was just a tad cold at the parade, but overall not too bad. Donna was across the street from where we stand, thank goodness for cell phones though so we could see each other. I made my way over w/ my DS and met Donna's DH and daughter ( i met her DS at lunch a couple of weeks ago). Donna has a picture of us that she will post. Hopefully it turned out. I came home w/ the kids around 6, and DH is still out w/ his family.

Sounds like everyone had good days. We did too but I'm pooped. Still catching up for little sleep on Thursday. Matt & Lew are watching the Big East Championship right now but I was falling asleep watching. Several angels have favorite teams playing between Pitt & UConn.

Gaspode - your comment about fish & chips prompts a question. Have you ever tried them at the stand that adjoins the Rose & Crown at Epcot? The fish is made slightly different from that here in RI and I really enjoyed it. Just wondering if it's "authentic" to you.

Hello all, busy day here today. Went to Kohls so DH could get California/Dallas appropriate clothing (short sleeved shirts). I got new jeans. Then back how to walkthe dogs and out again to the Home Show. Saw some interesting stuff, talked to a security company sales guy, Pete wants to have a security system installed in the new house, he'll feel better when he is gone and I am alone. Then lunch at 99 Pub, and finally home again. Getting his wash done, so far3 loads, and I haven't done the shirts yet. That will have to wait till tomorrow, as there are no lights in the basement.

Elaine, I didn't know you were getting new kitchen appliances. Even tho you have to have them, it's still fun to get new ones.

Parades! I haven't been to any except at WDW since 1995.

I voted for Mickey, sorry guys. I like a distant cousin of your favorite waver, but he isn't DIS approved.

I am yawning, so I think I will go to bed. Sorry for all I missed.

Lots to catch up on since yesterday morning!

Logan got third place in his Division - Webelos II. He didn't do as well in the Pack Championship race, but still had lots of fun. I decided at the last minute before we left that I wanted to race too, so I borrowed Lenny's car from last year. I placed fourth in the family division! I came thisclose to placing in the top three, but my car hit a bump in the track during one of the races and I came in third on that race. Oh well, I had fun anyway. Leah came in tied for fifth in the family race, just behind me.

Hi Pam! Nice to see you peeking in! Logan has decided to join Troop 404. His crossover is this Friday night, and he jumps right into camping with them the next morning at Agawam. I'll have to PM you the dates/places he is camping this summer.

Lars, what time does Dylan race on Sunday?

Sandy, if UCONN is the champ, I guess that means they beat Pitt? I didn't stay up for the whole game, but I saw that Pitt was ahead by 10+ points the last time I checked in.

Gaspode, I've talked to BB and have been looking at some maps of Philly. You're staying in a great area! You'll be close to Independance Hall, The Liberty Bell, and Betsy Ross's House. We did all that in September with my DS Adam before he left for Paris. He flew out of Philly. We also took a carriage ride thru the city. I just finished this page in BB's scrapbook! I'll try to get it scanned and you can see it.

I'm heading out to church, then to the gym, then off to do some shopping. I'll be stopping in the scrapbooking section.
