Matt & I spent the night at Hasbro Children's Hospital but we're home now. He had a fever and stomach pain that was too similar to his episode 4 years ago to ignore. They diagnosed strep and an infected tonsil and did all sorts of testing to ensure there's no blood clot this time. We also saw several of the doctors he did the last time. He's also going to get some followup blood work in 2 weeks to be sure all is well.

Wow, Gail. Sorry you had to go through all that! Tell Matt I hope he is feeling better! Are they going to take his tonsils out? Or just treat with antibiotics?

Gail, YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!! Tell Matt to feel better soon. We need the future baseball star ready for spring training soon. I am glad it wasn't as serious as before, and I hope that he is responding to the meds.

Someone posted pictures of people in Irish hats. Looked like a fun time.

Pete has informed me that he will be in Dallas on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday next week. Then California on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday the week after, then he goes to Germany on Friday until the 3rd of April. Guess I will be having fun with books, as usual.

Gosh, what else did I miss. Kids going to WDW as a surprise, very nice. Tony and Tina's Wedding, I hear it is a really fun show. Happy Birthday to Brian's MIL. The Home SHow, which I have free tickets for, thank you Stephanie.

We sold the trailer!!!! 1st caller did not show up, 2nd caller came, looked, went to the bank and brought cash, so it's gone. Now we won't need to worry about storing it somewhere after we move. And Pete has to buy a new car as soon as we get to settlement, his van isn't getting it, and he gets a great car allowance. Too bad it has to be a 4 door conservative car. Or he may get an Explorer, he goes back and forth about it.

Guess I will see what other trouble I can cause.

Gail - I'm glad it was nothing too serious w/ Matt. I think you all need a vacation!

Carolyn - isn't it funny how your GM changed when she was at the hospital?!

Donna - great pictures. it is going to be cold tomorrow. i hope the kids will last awhile at the parade.

Marsha - glad the trailer sold fast. sounds like Pete will be gone quite a lot. rent some good movies, and buy some good books. or we can schedule some chats.

Took DD to Target today. I love that store. Got DS a b'day present for his party on Sunday, and I picked up a copy of Schindler's List for me. I heard there are some great stories from the survivors on there. DH brought pizza home for dinner. I cleaned the kitchen, dining room, bathroom and hallway floors. Put a new furnace filter in (DH has still never done this ), put a new toilet seat in the downstairs bathroom, and did dishes today. I think I was pretty productive. And when DD went over to the neighbors, I even got to watch part of "Chicago" w/ the surround sound cranked!

Hi gang. I haven't felt much like posting lately. I can't explain it, but I'm sure you understand.

SB, we both must have had the same wavelength for cleaning today. I worked on Logan's room this afternoon. It was a disaster zone, but it looks much better now.

Tomorrow is Logan's final pinewood derby. I love going to see these every year, so I will miss it. Logan, Leah, and Lenny all have cars that they will be racing. I hope they do well.

Sarah and I got to camp and back ok. I asked why she wanted to drive since I was going today it would have been just as easy for me to drive next week. She said, "Mom, I don't want my parents to drive me to a job interview." I thought that was a good reason.
