I woke up at 6 am when I heard the living room clock chiming...and I leaped out of bed in a complete state of panic because the twins were late for school DUH! Somebody smack me....it's Saturday

LOL @ Sarah, too! She sounds like a very mature young woman, Carol. Did her interview go well?

One of these years I'd like to go to the big St. Pat's parade downtown. It would be too chilly this year for my liking.

We're off to the races soon. Logan's group begins at 9. We will be staying all day to help out with various things. This afternoon will be the races for the pack champion, siblings, and leaders, so we have lots of rooting to do.

I'm going to a St. Patrick's Day parade today in Hartford .... then I'm going to my parents house - my sister is visiting from Virginia (yes Marsha, the one from Springfield ) so it will be nice to see her and her husband...... tomorrow I am spending a much needed day at home ...... life has been a zoo lately ! On the good side, I didn't have to go to NY for work this week.... or for the next couple of weeks, so that will be a nice break ....

I'm off to find Indyman's NCAA pool thread ... can't wait for March Madness !

Sue - you can get to my house w/o crossing the river or going through a tunnel. i go to LK's using 79N, I'm about 10 minutes off the Kerwin(sp?) Heights exit.

It's going to be a cold morning for the parade. Hopefully Donna and I can find each other. DS woke up around 2 having a coughing fit, so I hope he is o.k. this morning. I couldn't fall back to sleep 'til around 4. I am going to be one tired pup today.

Good morning everyone!

Have fun whatever you are doing today. I think I am just going to get some chores and errands done today, then tonight DH and I are going out with another couple for dinner. Nothing fancy but it will be fun.

LK, Sarah's interview is next Saturday. Yesterday was just the test run driving. Good luck at the Derby. When DS was in Scouts, I hated the Derby. Too competitive with the dad's making the cars then saying it was the kid's work. Andrew always made his own car and it was obvious that many of the other boys didn't. Wasn't really a fair race then.

Lou, I don't know about you or Lars, but I woke up in the state of Maryland.

Off to find some breakfast. I feel like looking for it at KK but I won't.

SB, When I think of going to Bethel, I think of going thru the tubes and making a left like I'm going to South Park.
If you're that close to 79, that would work great for you going to LK's!

Last night was fun, though Neil ran into several people he "works" with...in particular one who''s mother came over to Neil to talk about her son's virtues......kinda funny....DH felt bad that I was exposed to all of it...but I kindly told him "I'm not with you"

Not alot of time here as I have a house full of Canadians but I wanted to say hi. My cousins are in for the parade!

1.) That's what I get for trying to be nice (too whimpy)

2.) Try keeping your mouth shut for a few days and then see what I do (too mean even for me)

Morning!

Sorry about the incomplete info. Last night was the father-daughter dance. When Matt & I were at the hospital her best friend's mom called to invite EB & Lew to join her daugher & dad in a limo that her dad had rented. It was a big surprise for everyone and they had lots of fun. EB even danced with her dad.

I feel like I'm missing stuff too. I thought I read through the thread last night but that wine must have blurred my vision.
that sounds like a good excuse, huh?

We're headed to the Home Show today. Stay warm all you parade-goers this weekend!
