Ugh! I am soooo depressed......I just got back from taking the test that I have been studying like a maniac for.....and I failed. Which is bad enough, but I scored a 509 and certification was 515. That's 1 question........ughhh. And to make matters worse, as I was walking out to my car, going over some of the questions in my head, I realized right there, two of the questions I got wrong.
My fault I guess......going too fast. Take your time, they said.....go slow, read the whole question, formulate your answer, then......read it again! Did I listen? NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Then, when I got home, with the test still fresh in my mind, I began looking up some of the questions. I can't believe some of the silly mistakes I made. Nerves, I guess. The moral of the story, I suppose, is when someone who does something for a living, gives you advice on how to do it, you should probably listen.
Grrrrrrrrrr........where's that Hagen-Daz..............

Brian....at least you have another week to study for it! and a week isn't such a long time to wait either. Now put down the spoon....walk away from the ice cream....any good angel knows that true pity parties involve Ben & Jerry's, not hagen daas.....unless of course it's chocolate..then it really don't matter!!!

Carol, I love ASMo. Been there twice, and loved it. I did not pay the extra for the prefered location, the first time I was in the Mighty Ducks building, it is all the way in the back, closer to go to ASMu for the bus stop, and the second time in the Herbie Building (7) which was right next to the preferred. A really nice food court, great bus service, all around a great place. I am jealous.

Brian, sorry about the test. Did I miss something as to what it was for? Anyway you will better next week.

I was correct, Pete will not be home until Sunday.

Lou, thanks for thinking of me. Actually, it was the fact that I saw the HRP thread that made me realize I missed seeing the reruns. I've since been told that they weren't that fabulous. I guess maybe you have to be a kid to get it? But I have been humming the theme song. LOL!

Brian, I'm sorry about the test. Study hard, breathe deep and slow down. Bet you'll ace it next week.

Mmmmm, a bakery meet. That sounds yummy.

I have chicken in the crockpot for dinner. Allen is coming home a little late, so I fixed something that would be ready whenever he walks in the door.

Tomorrow is going to be crazy. Amy has band solo and ensemble contest at about 8:30. She's in the flute choir and a trio. She should be finished about 10:00.

Meanwhile, Allen and David are going to be selling mulch with the Scouts to help finance our visit from St. Cuthbert's Scouts this summer. They are our sister troop from England.

I have to pick Amy up and rush her to Oklahoma City for botball regionals, as soon as she is out of the band contest. Botball lasts until around 5:00. We are going to watch and cheer her team, and she has to go before the judges to explain the team web page, since she was in charge of it.

Finally, we'll make a run home to put the dogs out, pick up my cookies and then go to a church dinner we were invited to. It's a family group. Sounds like fun. We are anxious to get to know more of the people we are worshiping with.

Andrew has solo and ensemble tomorrow also. They changed it this year and in addition to it being S + E, it is also the try out for All County Band. No one likes the change and Sarah decided not to even do it. Good luck to Amy.

Sarah and I are going to go looking for her prom dress after I get Andrew home. Should be fun.

Brian - sorry about not passing the test. think of the Angels in their uniforms and that will get you through it!

Cami - I bought the OG dressing from the ones around here, but I haven't bought it in a couple of years, so I don't know if you can still do it.

Marsha - your bird stories had me ROTFLMAO! Maybe the fat one ate one of the other ones?! The repairman was in his 70's, so nothing nice to look at.

Sandi - one of the guys we work w/ buys everyones b'day cakes at the Oakmont Bakery. Yum!

Lou - the piece that was broken cost less than $20! Don't you just love their charge to come out and repair it though.

DH is out w/ the guys from work tonight. I told him to just go to his parents home if he gets too bad. They live 2 minutes from the city. DS is having a neighbor kid sleep over tonight. I got them pizzas for dinner, and now they are watching Scooby Doo. Shannon is still improving - acting more like herself. Not much going on this weekend.
