Big doins here today, I have to put gas in the car and get it washed, and then DH is taking it to the airport later, so I will be with out wheels till sometime on Wednesday.
You should do as I do, and take the time to drop him off. After having a couple of cars dinged up pretty badly at the park and ride (especially with winter parking), he doesn't like to leave vehicles there any more.

LK, I laughed until I cried! What a way to start the day. I could see that happening to me. She must be my long-lost cousin. :teeth: Now, I may never go on a waterslide again. Of course when you are a member of the "Grace" family, it can happen anywhere.

Sandi, in the excitement over the move I forgot to say anything about your trip. Sounds like a great plan. I'm very happy for you! :D

E, thanks for explaining the mothy comment. You mean they think you are "mouthy"?

MP, I had to read that story twice. At first, I thought she just lost her top. As if that wasn't bad enough, she lost her entire suit! I just noticed she lists her location as "near Pittsburgh". We'll have to get her to come to a Pittsburgh meet and tell us the story in person!!!

Alrighty then, THIS is becoming a "lounge in front of the computer" day! I've got Lars and Donna letting me know about the Fairytale packages, I've submitted two requests for quotes for a cruise, and now I get an e-saver notice about special round trip rates to Europe for as low as $207! Do you have an extra bedroom for visitors, Gaspode? ;)

LK, it's time for you to step away from the computer....go clean the toilet or something.....

then come back.

lol

Sorry, Steph, but my house was cleaned from top to bottom for the bunco party, and I did all my laundry yesterday. So, here I sit!:teeth:

Diane, I used to do the airport drop off in AZ all the time, and often in ATL, but his flight schedules are really bad so far. Today isn't too bad leaving, but getting back is a bad time, Friday he has to be there at 5 am, and he doesn't like me to have to get up that early (even though it's ok for me to get up for the dogs at that hour!). I really don't care, it's too cold to go anywhere anyhow, I will just stay in and read a book or 2. My car is due for detailing and paintless dent repair in the spring, too. If it gets dinged up, I'll just make hime pay for the maintenance. I am so mean...............

Today is a good day to DIS, I agree.

The following is my contribution to humour for the Angels (Lou I would NEVER admit to the Angels my own mistakes)
I think the Women's Prayer should be added to the proverbial "Rules List";)

Subject: Funeral Procession

A woman was leaving a convenience store with her morning coffee when she
noticed a most unusual funeral procession approaching the nearby cemetery.

A long black hearse was followed by a second long black hearse about 50 feet
behind the first one. Behind the second hearse was a solitary woman walking a pit bull on a leash. Behind her, a short distance back, were about 200 women walking single file.

The woman couldn't stand her curiosity. She respectfully approached the
woman walking the dog and said, "I am so sorry for your loss, and I know now
is a bad time to disturb you, but I've never seen a funeral like this.

Whose funeral is it?"

"My husband's."

"What happened to him?"

"My dog attacked and killed him."

"Well, who is in the second hearse?"

"My mother-in-law. She was trying to help
my husband when the dog turned on her."

A poignant and thoughtful moment of silence passed
between the two women.

"Can I borrow the dog?"

"Get in line."

A Woman's Prayer:

Dear Lord, I pray for:
Wisdom, To understand a man;
Love, To forgive him; and
Patience, For his moods.

Because, Lord, if I pray for Strength,
I'll just beat him to death.

John,
Funny! Although I love my MIL dearly so I wouldn't get in line.
I am very lucky!

That bathing suit story was really funny LK.

I have been adding, multiplying, calling Disney all day!
Math on Monday! YUK! Trying to save lots of money though.
FTP is ONLY for new Disney VISA holders. Charter cardmembers are left in the dust. Although the guy from guest services told me to patiently keep checking the internet for either a new FTP or summer AP rates!

My kids have the nerve to keep kicking me off computer to play scooby doo CD! Should have had a snow day makeup day today!lol

Marsha, I think legally I could get into trouble if I said anything specific due to my job ;) Bad thing is I used to enjoy working with them but it seems that things are changing there...

Thanks Brian... much appreciated :teeth:

E!, just call them by their original names, no one would know then!

I agree, all the press 2, be on hold, let me transfer you, blah, blah, blah gets old.

Valentines is over, CVS had all the left over stuff marked down, and they are alreay putting out the EASTER stuff!!!

The mini-beast (my neice) spent the night here last night. OMG, this girl can eat. I always heard boys eat more, but this tiny thing puts Sam to shame. I think she has had 3 small breakfasts already and is now asking for lunch.
I have all my jeans in the washer and DH wants to go out for lunch.....hello, I dont have any clothes to wear out of the house.
But, how cute is this

Bethany - adorable picture! I took one of my DD last week when she was sleeping on the living room chair cuddling a stuffed animal.

LK - funny story, although I would be too embarrassed to admit that if it happened to me.

Marsha - are you enjoying your quiet time?

E - are you o.k. now?

John - love the jokes!

Well, I paid some bills and bought myself a shirt today. Yesterday, I went to Target and bought Valentine's for the kids to pass out for next year. 1/2 off and you can't go wrong w/ SpongeBob and Barbie every year. We went to eat at Texas Roadhouse last night. DH has been there before, but it was the first time for me and the kids. GREAT FOOD! I got the 1/2 slab of ribs, rice and chili. They have these rolls that are to die for also. Anyone eaten at one of these? You can also eat peanuts and throw them on the floor which was a big hit for my DS.

We have a Texas Roadhouse. Those rolls are to die for!

I ought to go out and see if I can find some sale Valentines. We don't use very many anymore, but Amy likes to have some for her friends. Last year I picked up some stuffed animals that were brown or white on sale for her when she was in the hospital. They were almost giving them away and they didn't look like Valentines Day if you got them away from the display. And Kohls had the cutest socks with hearts the other day. I wouldn't mind getting some of those on sale, either.

I wish E'd share some of her candy. I'm needing a chocolate fix. :teeth:

For you, MP.

SB: Do you remember the following year that you have those Valentines? I would probably forget where I put them and that I even bought them. lol We are still on for lunch on Wednesday at 12:15! I have never tried Texas Roadhouse, but Lonestar Steakhouse used to do the peanut thing. Then they stopped because they thought someone might fall on the shells.

Bethany: cute picture. Good one to scrapbook!

E: I have no tolerance for idiots either so I understand your pain!

:wave2: everyone
kind of a lazy day here. DH had the day off and kids were in school.....the honey do list didn't get much crossed off. But we DID watch JR win the Busch race, so the day wasnt a total waste.

catch you all later.
