Good thing you didn't order anything from the Boy Scouts......

I see blue sky. It's a nice sight!

I'm in mean mommy mode again. I've had it with lazy, self-centered teens. I'm not going into it in detail, but you get the idea. I NEED a vacation. :teeth: Lucky for the family, I am going to get one.

Back to getting us ready. This time next week we'll be driving to Dallas for our flight. We were able to get a big price break if we drove down there instead of flying out of Oklahoma City.

Hope grandma has a good day. I remember when we had my grandpa living with us. He was a handful and it was so draining emotionally. And the sweet little man who would never have hurt a fly (and lived by the rule "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all") would get violent and verbally abusive with us as well. It's hard.

Don't get too excited! We just wear scrubs, not a white nurses dress and hat! It looks like we are wearing pajamas. But they are much more practical than white! (sorry to burst your bubble!)

Went shopping this AM. Hit some good sales.
Tonight, I have to go to a 70th birthday dinner for my MIL.
Tomorrow, I am working 12 hours.
not much else exciting going on around here.

have a good weekend everyone!

Gosh the things you miss (not) when you have people on your ignore list. I wonder if I will be able to be good after lent...........

Drizzly day here, getting the wash caught up, and have to do some bank in the box banking later. Having the usual bad weather phone line not working problems. And trying to figure out if I can afford to go to Chigago for a weekend wedding in May. Since it's family, I suppose I should. If my mother wants to go, then I will definately do it, and save myself a trip to VA the next week. My brother the father's son is getting married and my brother the father is officiating. I haven't been to a wedding in a few years, at least I have a nice suit, but it's pants, think that would be ok for a 1pm wedding and a 5pm reception?

anyone got advice for twister season?

Only play it with close friends, and if you are barefooted, you won't slide as much on the mat.

Alan, you are too funny. I only would add that it's important to check to see if you feet are smelly and wear your deoderant. ;)

My best advice for twister weather is to move away if it worries you too much. Not much you can do about it but listen for the warnings and take cover.

I'm home kids. My ears were burning today....was anyone talking about me????

Is this today's riddle? Who is getting married?

My nephew (my brother's son) is the groom. My brother, who is a priest, will be the officiant. We call him our brother the father, not to be confused with our father who are possibly in heaven, Family joke.

Check your PMs Carol.

The true advise for twister season is to stay away from all electrical appliances, and keep your computer turned OFF.
