Lars, me too! I've had this incredible craving for chocolate lately!

How about some ideas for dipping. The first thing that comes to my mind is Strawberries and pretzels.
cookies
cherries
raspberries
small fondue size pieces of cake
spoons (for coffee stirring)
ice cream

Gee Sandi~ do you suppose it would be bad manners to just lay on the ground with your mouth open??:teeth:

You all are making me hungry just reading this. Not necessarily with the chocolate but with the rest of the food mentioned!

Lars, not bad manners at all, just make sure you leave room for others who want to do the same ;)

If everyone is into chocolate, there is a nice and fun fondue place in Philly called The Melting Pot. There are a few around the country. We went there around 8 years ago and it was fun.

Kathy, sounds like a good place for our Philly meet in November!!

Thanks for all the great ideas!! Some I never even thought of!

Glad i had already eaten before I got on here, all that talk of chocolate!! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Sandi, I think caramels would be a good idea.
However, for elegance you can't go wrong with strawberries....my absolute favorite indulgence!!! mmmmm

Good morning everyone.

I wondered if we would still be here.

I would chose chunks of cake to dip in the chocolate but I think strawberries are traditional. Doesn't the supplier have suggestions?

Laying on the floor with my mouth open of course
It's ingenious!
Why waste all that time dipping??

Not in my book of manners!!! :p

I can just picture it now, the bride in her lovely gown and veil, laying on her back with chocolate running across her cheeks into her ears.

Hey Gail, Indyman has a second chance pool for the last 16. It is DIS16. To quote Brian: I'm in.

I can picture me too!!!!!!!:rotfl:

BTW Gail. Thanks for the tip about the second chance pool. Not that I know any more than the first time around, but I'm in.

Melissa, I am now three hours from Mobile, but I used to be 40 minutes (10 when I was in college).

I see we are still around, so I'm putting in my "good morning" as well.

I did enjoy supper last night, so there...but even I would draw the line on grits in choccolate.
