Mr. and Mrs. Loubon, hope you have a happy 20th. Our 20th is coming up in July! It'll be here before we know it.

We didn't do the 1st 100 days when I was in grade school, but all the schools here do it now. The kids have a good time with it.

Great pictures, Gail. It'd be funny to scan a bunch of our baby photos and try to figure out which one went with which angel.

Have a great mini meet. I just typed in "meat" and corrected it. Hope someone takes pictures to share.

100 day celebrations are for the 100th day of school

E - on the 100th day of school, many elementary schools these days have a big party. In the past, my kids have had to do things like decorate a 100 days shirt, bring in 100 of something, bring in 100 small snack items to share, such as raisins, m&m's, etc. Just a goofy way to have fun with the day.

The 100 Day Party
All the kids had to count by 10's yesterday, for as high as they counted they got that much $ for the 100 Day store. She had buckets set up with different values ($10-$100) and the kids got to spend their money however they chose. She 'sold' things like books, Happy Meal toys, stickers, pencils, etc. Sam chose a 100 Day book, stickers, fun pads and a little bear toy.
She served snacks to look like 100 (pretzel rod and 2 ritz crackers).
They made cereal & life saver necklaces (9 fruit loops & a life saver repeated in a pattern). They had to draw a picture of what they would buy with $100....they drew horses, dogs, a Viper, cars, bike, jewelry and so on.
She did comparison weights with things like 100 marshmallows, 100 cotton balls, m&m's, pennies, etc. They measured the length of things to compare also.
And everyone was supposed to wear something special. Sam and I both wore 100 Years Of Magic shirts Other kids had numbers painted on, 100 stickers stuck to their shirts, 100 buttons sewn on, etc.
I cant believe how much we accomplished in 2 1/2 hours. I tthink I need a nap before I go scrapping tonight.

why is it that your expected to sit and listen to everyone elses problems and tears etc etc....but the minute somethings wrong with you, it's laughed off and your told to snap out of it?????

Cami, hugs to you sweetie. It's always that way. THe one who is the best listener can't possibly need a hug or an ear or even a shoulder for support. Now the wine may not help the problem, but after aq few glasses, you won't care! Chin up, and think about your trip. It's not that far off.

Hi all. . . back from lunch .. . had a good time .. ... I can confirm that there are definitely two twins and neither one is evil! ....... we took a few pictures with Kevin's little digital camera that I will try to post later with DH's help. LK and SB gave Sue and I the scoop on all of you, . Talked about the DIS meet in Michigan .... we are going to try to make it. All in all, it was a good time. We want to plan a Disney trivia night sometime soon too!!! (as you can see the enter button is still not working: despite technical help from yepod: didn't realize how much I used it before!)
