Angelrose's Journey

snappyd - eek! I know the feeling! We had raccoons living under this house we bought at the end of summer. Only, the previous owner didn't seem to care (& didn't live here fulltime) so the raccoons really set up a homestead.....I won't go into details, but the insulation under the house was quite cozy for them! (they're all gone now)

Angelrose - I'll pray that Zoey will be fine for the trip. My youngest had a fever when he was about 3 or 4 & we were about to leave for Disneyland. I took him to the doctor the day before we left, but he said there was nothing he would give him - that whatever it was would run its' course. Sure enough, the first night, his fever broke and I remember sitting on the floor of the closet area, before it goes into the bathroom, giving him juice and letting him talk a little. Didn't want to wake the others, but finally got him to bed and he was fine the rest of the trip. He would get funny little fevers like that. Hoping that Zoey comes out of this quickly.

Yayyyyyyyyyyy!! Zoey's fever broke last night. So I didn't have to babysit today. I got my OJ and cheese over to their house and I am already to go. Just have to confirm my car services tomorrow.

I already stopped the paper and told them to hold my mail. Bought post card stamps and that's about it.

Two more days to go and I am BOUNCING off the walls.

I'm still trying to come up with a title for my trip report. LOL But I will be writing it every night while I'm there.

I will take lots of pictures plus we all have cameras and also got the photopass.

I can't wait to leave.

Well that's odd..I read your post about little Zoey's fever breaking..stopping the paper etc etc...and then I posted. My post has appeared before yours?:confused3:confused3:confused3 I am sure it will straighten itself out! Weird..

Yes, I noticed that. Very strange. The board seems to be having a few problems lately. Yesterday it was so slow.

Angelrose, glad sweet Zoey is feeling better , so many bugs going around. :guilty:

I am so excited for your family trip :). Nothing quite as magical as seeing the world through our sweet grands eyes, is it :cloud9:? Hope you have a safe and wonderful trip, as your Ron smiles upon you all from above. Reminder from one senior to another , be sure not to push yourself too much and rest whenever you get the chance.

snappyd, that must have been so not fun :scared1:, glad you got it taken care of! We like to sit in our sunroom and have our morning coffee and watch all the beautiful birds, but those pesky squirrels chase them all off like they own the place :headache: !One day one bit a hole in my sliding screen door and walked right in where our grands were playing - he quickly learned he was not welcomed!! :rolleyes1

:scared1: Dh is petrified of them, I find the whole thing kind of funny! We took down our bird feeder :sad2: The squirrels empty it before the poor birds get a chance to eat.

Angel, have a BLAST!!! I'm so excited for you! :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

I am back. I had such a wonderful time. I can't believe it's over and I am back to reality. I am fighting a chest cold now. But at least it waited until I was home to get me.

I am working on my trip report. Karen is making me a copy of our photopass pictures. So I will be able to include some of them.

I really enjoyed Harry Potter land and Dr. Suesse at Universal. I loved seeing the kids enjoy those rides. I won't mention that Karen and I enjoyed some of them too.

Legoland was great for Jese, but there was nothing that Zoey could ride except the carousel. She did enjoy the playground though. She always wanted to go down the big slide rather than the smaller one. She is going to be a tomboy for sure.

All the food was delicious. I even enjoyed our meal at Tony's.

As soon as my trip report is finished I will put up the link.

Welcome home!

Isn't that the case - once you get home, it sometimes feels like you never went away!

Looking forward to your Trip Report.

We've booked a trip to WDW for our older son and daughter-in-law for December, using our DVC points. They're going with us to Disneyland in June. They're the ones who lost everything a few days after Christmas. They got their insurance check, moved into a new apt and got their new kitty!

I'm revving up for the girls-only trip to Disneyland in May! can't wait!

Welcome home, Angelrose! I know I've not been here in a long time, but I do still receive email post updates so have been keeping up! Saw some FB posts too during your trip.

Looking forward to hearing all about everything (and learn tips for Sophia's first trip, which I hope to begin planning soon - sadly we will have to stay off site so we can take the pups along)! Can't wait to see the photos!

Feel better soon!

Welcome home! Sorry it went so fast, can't wait to see the pics! :cool1:

Thanks for the welcome home girls. I am glad to be back home, but I miss being with Jesse and Zoey. Come to think of it, I do need the time to feel better with this darn chest cold.

minniecarousel, I look forward to reading about your girls only trip.

Minnie&Nana, just make sure Sophia gets her regular naps and she will be fine. Zoey is a bit younger than Jesse was on his first trip so she was afraid of the characters. Jesse was just two and Zoey is 17 months. That little bit does make a difference. Karen did let Jesse watch a lot of dvd's about Disney World before we went too.

Thank you hellokitty86. It will take a while. I haven't even gotten the photopass pictures yet and I'm having trouble with Shutterfly. I will have to ask Chuck's help next time he comes over. I am such a dunce when it comes to computers.

Welcome home Angelrose!! All good times pass much too quickly don't they?:sad2:

Feel better!

Thanks minnie56. It did go by so quickly. But there is another planned. Only 718 more days to go! :rotfl:

I'm taking some cough medicine. It hasn't gotten worse, so I guess that's good news.

Hi angelrose
welcome back I am so glad you had a nice trip hope to read your TR soon take care of that chest cold :)

Thank you 4 mickey. I can't wait to show you all the pictures and my TR. It's coming along slowly. Getting the pictures into Shutterfly is a big job! There were a LOT of pictures! I'll try and sort them out and down to a reasonable number. Between the photopass pictures and the ones Chuck and Karen took it's close to 800 pictures.

Welcome home Angelrose! Glad you had a wonderful trip! Another follower who's anxious to hear all about your trip and see pix. :goodvibes

No rush, take care of your cold and get plenty rest. :grouphug:
