So glad you had such a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. And I'm glad you had a great time today but I'm tired after reading it all. It is okay about the elf. Maybe this one isn't as scary as the other. Not all of them are.

That picture of Jesse is adorable!!! He is such a cutie anyway. We can't wait to see your pictures.

Your Thanksgiving dinner sounds yummy.

We had turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing, sweet potatoes & green beans. They had an apple pie and a pumpkin pie for dessert. I was bad and took one small spoonful of dressing. Yes, I know I shouldn't have. I've been paying for it. It was a small amount too. It was cornbread stuffing so it wasn't like it was full of wheat only. At least now I know for certain how sensitive I am.

Where on earth on you going to put that tree?

Sounds like you had a great Thanksgiving. We all ate too much also, again and again. I am throwing out the leftovers today.

Jesse's picture is adorable as usual. I can't wait to see all the pictures when you get them back.

reelmom, I am going to get rid of the tree that I have. It's really too much work to put in each branch and then put on all the lights. I hate to do it because we have had this tree for years. It will be hard to just throw it away.

I went to the dump today to give some more coats to Goodwill. The dump man there is so sweet. He asked me if I wanted him to blow off my driveway. Chuck was going to do it but we ran out of time. Jim told me that Ron would have had it done by now so he would like to do it. I told him it was a big job, but he said it would just take a few hours work. I thanked him. I am going to give him a tin of the candies I've been making to say thank you.

Thanks reelmom and anniemae. I'm glad you all liked them. You wouldn't guess how hard it was to get him to smile. He wanted to be anywhere but having his picture taken. Some of them I had to make funny faces at him to make him smile.

I know what you mean about throwing out a Christmas tree. They're not meant to last a decade! But it's so hard (for me!) to throw something like that out.

You do NOT have a big mouth. You look SO happy in all of the pictures, especially because of your mouth being open. What a beautiful family!!! The pictures made me teary eyed for some reason. You are all so beautiful!!!

Thank you minniecarousel and chell. They are great kids and always taking such good care of me.

Today Chuck came over and he took me to the cemetery to put up a wreath on my mom's grave. Then we came home and spread Ron's ashes around the outside. Most of them went at his holly grove on our property. Some went near the bird feeder and some went in the front of the house so he can keep watch for me. We put some in a small container for me to keep in side. I just need to have him near me. Chuck did it so reverently. It was very touching. My sweet Ron.

Karen sent me our itinerary for our trip. She has everything all scheduled. I hate to tell her that you don't always get seated at your reservation time. LOL But we will see how it works out. Most of them are early for dinner and breakfast, so it shouldn't be much of a problem.

I can just imagine how emotional yesterday was for you. I'm glad that you & Chuck were able to do it together.

Your trip is going to be here before you know it. When I saw we were at 31 days I was thinking how close your trip is. I hope you will give us a link to all of your pictures too!

Yesterday was very hard in one way and peaceful in another. I just can't believe it still.

I got all my Cabbage Patch Dolls dressed in the Christmas outfits this morning. I am finally done with all the decorating.

I am suddenly getting very nervous about our trip. I don't know why. I'm sure we will have a great time. I have a few more things to pack. I keep forgetting things that I know I will need. Only 10 days left!

Glad you got all of the decorating finished.

Only 10 more days? YAY for you!!!

I can see getting nervous. I do that usually. This trip is going to be so different from past ones so you are going to face a whole new range of emotions this year.

Yes I'm sure that is it. I will be missing him for sure. I'm really dreading having to tell all of our friends that Ron is gone. I still tear up when I have to tell people about it. I know I will have a hard time with Wishes and Spectro Magic and the Osbourne lights. Those were always so special to us. But I've got to think about how Jesse will see these things. I hope the fireworks don't scare him.

Just remember that Ron will be with you the entire time. I hope Jesse doesn't get scared.

Hey AngelRose. How are you? Are you ready for the big trip???

Hi chell. I'm getting so excited! And a little nervous. This will be my first time flying alone. I don't know what I am nervous about. I'm not flying the plane! I will have a car pick me up at the house to take me to the airport and a car at Orlando to take me to the hotel. I can't get lost. I do know the way from the plane to the shuttle that takes you to the baggage where I will meet my driver. Why am I nervous?? 7 days, 13 hours, 54 minutes. I can't believe it is so close. I am all packed except for the t shirts and the last minute things for my backpack. I'm already for my hair appointment on Saturday and my manicure and pedicure on Sunday.

All I can say is

Awesome!!! Flying alone can make you nervous. I always take my iPod so I can listen to my music. I have to have my music to relax me. I think I get nervous because of the control issues. When I'm driving the car I'm in control, but when I'm flying I'm back there and someone else is in complete control. Does that make sense?

You are going to have such a great time!!!
