Yeah! Glad that you made it. You left just in time . . It's bitter cold here in the midwest. I'm so looking forward to reading about your trip, and pretending that I am at Disney also. Your gkids are so precious!

Thanks Wis2inTink. I'm writing up each day as we go. I take notes during the day or I would forget half of what we do. It was 70 here.

My dear friends, I can't believe we have been here a week. We are having so much fun and Chuck and Karen keep me laughing so hard, my face hurts. Karen is running a 10K on Saturday and a half marathon on Sunday. Please wish her the best of luck in both races.

I'm happy for you that you get out of dismal winter for some warmth. I hope you're taking notes & lots of pictures! I look forward to your trip reports.

Thank you rndmr2 and minniecarousel. Karen is doing a 10k tomorrow and a half marathon on Sunday. I don't know how she does it. One day of walking in the park and I am ready for bed. On the bright side, I'm not using a scooter. I'm totally walking with my cane and doing at least 10,000 steps a day. Usually more. I have been taking notes during the day and writing up my trip report at night. It will be a while before I can get the pictures to go with my report. If I don't take notes, I totally forget half of what we do. The other day, I forgot to take notes and Karen had to help me with what we did. It's heck getting old.

Karen finished her race this morning. She felt great afterwards too. She had a lot of fun and we are all so proud of her. Tomorrow is her half marathon and I'm sure she will do just as well in that race.

10K AND a Half Marathon? That is amazing. I can barely get through a 5K, LOL... That is fantastic. Glad to read you're having fun.

Thank you 312.Duck. Karen took a lot of pictures with the characters were her 3 medals today. Not to be outdone, I did a no k run. Sadly they don't give out medals for that. We had a lot of fun today and saw the fireworks and we did see Tink fly. The kids were falling asleep and zombie walked out to the car. In fact I think we all did the same walk.

I forgot to post that she did finish her half marathon in 3 hours and 32 minutes. She had one medal for the 10K, one medal for the half marathon and one for doing both in the Glass Slipper Challenge. They are really pretty medals.

I am home. We had such a wonderful time. Chuck and Karen did a wonderful job of planning this trip. So many fast passes, dinner reservations and other details. All went well. They made me laugh so hard every day, that my face hurt. I still have the last couple of days to type up in my report. There are so many pictures, well over a thousand that she has to go through before she sends them to me. As soon as she does and I pick out the ones I want for the report, I will post it and give you all the link. It may be a month before I get it all together. A lot of my pictures are, ummmmm weird. Bu that's not unusual.

Welcome back to the real world and can't wait for trip report and photos! You're so blessed to have such a close loving family that plans trips, include you in everything, and know they all light up your world . That's what family is all about . Great to hear Karen did so well on her marathons - know everyone is proud of her!

Thank you 4nana. I am so blessed. Chuck and Karen had a problem with the van on the way home. The computer system completely died. The mechanic at the dealership in South Carolina told them it would be at least 3 weeks before they could get the part. He even looked to see if they had a 2012 van that he could take the computer out of but they didn't. He jury rigged the computer so that they could drive home. They had no gas gauge and no speedometer and they heard a constant PING all the way home. Needless to say they needed a new car.

I babysat on Saturday while they went out shopping and they got a new Chevy SUV. It has all the bells and whistles and even has a step so I can get in easier.

I am completely unpacked and put everything away. After that I'm watching more of the shows I have recorded. I figure by the time the summer reruns roll around, I will be finished . LOL I'm hoping by the end of the weekend, I will have them all up to date.

Welcome home!

Too bad about their car - how untimely to have it throw fits on a road trip! Glad they got a new reliable car.

We're having a fabulous visit with our younger son, daughter-in-law and baby Jackson. My grandsons are getting along wonderfully! Ben is not real good at sharing. He's not yet two, so I guess that's to be expected. We had a great party for Jackson's first birthday.

Karen told me tonight that we have close to 2,000 pictures! I think Chuck will download them to my computer sometime this weekend. Then comes the sorting and downloading them to Snapfish. If everything goes well, I could have this report done in a couple of weeks.

My dear friends. I have half the photos from our trip labeled. After that I can upload them little by little to Shutterfly. After that I can start posting my trip report with the pictures. There are so many beautiful pictures, it's so hard to choose.

HAPPY EASTER my dear friends. I'll be spending the day with the family. I know Jesse and Zoey are so excited about the Easter egg hunt in the back yard.

I have all the pictures for my trip report in Shutterfly now. I just have to organize the pictures into which day they are for and then I can start posting. I usually don't have time during the week, so hopefully in another couple of weeks it will all be done.
