The latest from yesterday was that they had footage of him yelling at Maddox - the 15 year old - and possibly lunging but no hitting. (I'm sure I've done that myself a few times when my kids were 15! ) The disconnect seems to be that their parenting styles are very different. With her, apparently, anything goes. He had a more traditional upbringing. (Slightly OT but did anyone else see pics of AJ and her brother kissing? Strange indeed!)

Right? If yelling at your teenager and "puffing yourself up" which could look like lunging-I got an immediate image in my head-well then, they're going to need to lock my butt (and a good portion of parents with teens) up and will probably have to do it again as I have two more coming up. There's a huge difference between abuse and a teenager who's (possibly) pushing his Dad's buttons and many, many shades in between.

I hope you are not inferring that MF made up allegations of sexual abuse by Woody Allen because he is a perv and I totally believe he could've messed around with MF's kids since he slept with her adopted daughter and then married said daughter. Just consider his son's feeling (everyone here keeps talking that adopted siblings are real siblings) so here he is his sister is his step mother, his father is his brother in law and his nieces are his sisters. It has been shown that 40% of mothers have admitted to disrupting the visitation of the children with their non custodial parent. In one case in the UK the mother can not now see her daughter at all, she mad accusations of child abuse that where proven to be wrong, the father was awarded custody she was then inprisoned when she approached the father and daughter when it was found that she had got a passport in her daughters name on her. I am seeing on the news in the mail and other places that Angelina wants to move herself and the kids to the UK and start a political career. she cant' do that if Brad is allowed joint custody. Considering its also been reported that at least two of the older ones want to live with their father don't you think this whole business is just selfish and harmful for these kids? If you're suggesting that adopted siblings aren't real siblings, that's offensive IMO.

As far as celebrity cases and other cases of custody battles you may have read about in the media and feel you have enough information to form a judgment on, I wouldn't feel comfortable that a media account(s) are providing a thorough recitation of the facts to come to any conclusions.

Getting back to Angelina I have seen this behaviour before my brother in law sister hated her ex the father of her children. So after insisting she wanted to move to New Zealand she admitted she brought them back because she didn't want them to have any relationship with their father. Angelina has said on many occasions what a great dad Brad is but now she wants him out of their lives like Goldi Hawn did and Kelly Rutherford tried. As for my views on adoption you should not create a family by destroying one that and having watched the fight that father's have gone through Rob Manzanares unmarried and Terry Achane married to his daughters mother the selfishness of these adoptive parents is disgusting. Yes adopt IF AND ONLY IF both parents agree if one or the other doesn't want their child to be adopted it is wrong to deny that parent for you own selfish wants and it makes the child's life a lie. And I don't mean the way fathers have to fight going through these stupid hoops to prove their rights. If a mother keeps her child she can go after the father years after and he has the responsibility to pay that assumption of automate responsibility should lead to the automatic assumption of parental rights whether it is a long term relationship or a quickie in the back of a car. The only caveat I have is that of rape. As for foster children either fight harder for biological family uncles aunts grandparents or guardianship so they can keep their original birth certificate. Did you know since 9/11 many adopted people are finding it hard if not impossible to get passports because they can't get their original birth certificate.

Do you really think that one incident on your family is an absolute predictor of what is happening in the private relationship between another couple that you've never met?

Their children have traveled internationally, so there is clearly no passport issue. And it appears that both parents have the means to travel with their children or to meet their children when not working or to bring their children along when working. What exactly are you concerned with for these children? That these children will end up in the foster system or some sort of rape occurring?

Nothing you're saying even seems to apply to this situation, or likely any custody dispute. It might be time to stop bumping this thread with incoherent accusations. This family seems to be doing fine without your judgement.

reading your link, it seems the issue was not with the birth certificate but with the paperwork surrounding the adoption decree - wrong names, redacted copy not original. There are also secondary documents that can be submitted instead of an original birth certificate. https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/passports/information/citizenship-evidence.html
As for foster children - they often spend years in the system as parents and other family members are given the opportunity to make the necessary changes to get the children back or take in their relatives in the case of family members. And yes their is the 15 out of 22 month law but that is not always applied or there are exceptions. So to keep a child in foster care for the sole purpose of having an original birth certificate is cruel, especially if it keeps the child from finding a permanent loving family.
