Angela & Matthew - Home Wedding 4/25/2009 & Disneymoon - I'm MARRIED!!!!

We applied for our marriage license!!:goodvibes It was one of those "OMG, this is really happening" moments!:rotfl: I was suprised by how quickly it took! We were in and out within like 10 minutes! I even made DF pose with me inside the City County Building in from of the Marriage License sign, but it turned out really bad so I won't scare you away by posting it.:lmao:

I'm going to post my Disney schedule on here so you ladies can advise if I need to make any changes or if I'm missing any "must dos". It's been so long since I've been there, so it's really hard for me to plan this trip. So here it goes:

Monday, April 27th
Depart Pgh at 6:50am
Arrive in Orlando at 9:05 am
Be in MK by noon?
Check in at Beach Club at 3:00
Dinner at Boma at 5:55
After dinner, go to Hollywood Studios (unless we're too tired) - EMHs

Tuesday, April 28th
Spend the day at Epcot!
Morning EMHs
Dinner at Coral Reef at 5:10
After dinner, head back to Beach Club to get cleaned and then head over to Downtown Disney
Cirque Du Soliel at 9:00

Wednesday, April 29th
Breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table at 8:05
After breakfast (and maybe after a few rides) head over to Hollywood Studios
3:00 Block Party Bash
Dinner at Sci-Fi Dine In
Fantasmic at 9:00

Thursday, April 30th
All Day at Magic Kingdom - Morning EMH
3:00 Dreams Parade
Dinner at Chef Mickey's at 5:00
8:00 Spectromagic
9:00 Wishes

Friday, May 1st
Breakfast at Kona Cafe at 9:50 - Can't wait to try the tonga toast that everybody is always talking about!
After breakfast, head to Animal Kingdom for the rest of the day
Dinner at Ohana's at 6:55
After that, maybe hang out and watch Wishes and Electirical Water Pagent from the beach? Or maybe go to Downtown Disney? Or maybe just catch up on sleep?

Saturday, May 2nd
Hollywood Studios bright and early - Morning EMH
Then maybe an afternoon swim Stormalong Bay (by myself, of course... DF is allergic to chlorine:headache:)
Dinner at Le Cellier
Epcot for the rest of the evening

Sunday, May 3rd
FREE DAY! To catch up on where ever we feel we need to spend more time!
Dinner at California Grill at 7:30 - I haven't cancelled the Sweetheart Dinner for Two yet, but I am going to. Hopefully they'll still be able to keep my reservation!
The bummer part is that wishes isn't until 10:00. I had to schedule all my ADR's before May's schedule was out, so I was hoping they'd be at 9:00, but Disney saved the day by having evening EMH at MK - it's open till 1:00!! I thought about calling CG to see if I could change my dinner ressie's for a later time, but I figured I'd so much rather watch Wishes from the park on my last night instead of the restaurant! So we'll be headed right on over to MK after dinner! And DF will have to drag me out of the park at 1:00, and I'm sure I will be bawling my eyes out.:sad1:

Sunday, May 4th
Ok, so I don't know if this is going to work or not, but here's what I have planned, let me know if you think there's not going to be enough time...
We have breakfast scheduled at Cape May at 7:30am, but our plane leaves Orlando at 12:05... is that going to work, or no? What time will the Magical Express leave if the flight leaves at 12:05?? I definately want to do a Cape May breakfast since we're staying at the BC, so if it's not going to work, I want to schedule this a different day...

Any opinions or suggestions? Any changes I should make??

Oh, and I just have to share...

I was just getting ready to shut down my computer for the night, and figured I'd just check www.accuweather.com again to see if the weather has changed since the last I checked, and GUESS WHAT!!!!

SUNNY and 71 degrees!!! AHH, that would be absolutely perfect. If that ends up being correct, I couldn't ask for a more perfect Pittsburgh spring day!:):):)

Keep your fingers crossed for me!

I love you itinerary. I wish I was going, you will have so much fun!

For magical express if you plane leaves at 12:05, Magical express will pick you up at 9:05. They factor in an hour to the airport and get you there two hours before your plane leaves. So you will have plenty of time for breakfast!!! I would maybe just bring your luggage down and put it in the holding room just in case you go over in time you will be right there. Is you airline one of the ones that you can check in at the hotel. That helped on time with us.

I agree with PinkPixie you should be fine for breakfast with bringing luggage down & guest services will hold for you and would be perfect if you can flight check in from hotel! We have missed magical express back to airport before (from cutting it so close out of a park); and just took a cab to airport (about $50). It doesnt take an hour to get there but cant predict traffic, etc. and M.E. doesnt want you to miss your flight!

Early flight out of Pgh-whew!! hopefully your hotel have availability and let you check-in early - maybe even call and request it today tell them your Disneymooning!!) EVERYWHERE YOU GO-might get special treats!! They will tell you "its only a request" to check in early but hopefully it works out. M.E. will drop you off there anyway (not straight to a park) and you can ask front desk if available when you get there; if not they will check you in and give you your keys to the world (which will have all your dining stuff/park tickets/room keys on there, if you have a pkg.) And when you get to MK get your Just Married Button at Town Hall!!)

Spend some time at Boma - we LOVE it there - go to the huge beautiful lobby window and down those steps to the outback area - you see savannah, up close animals talk to the guides they will tell you neat facts. Aaawww I want to GO NOW!!!!!!)

We love seafood so the Cape May Buffett has a great seafood dinner, YUM-O!!)
You two have got a full trip planned - Gonna have so much fun
That free time might be well spent lounging at the pool!!) And your weather looks great for Wedding DAY :cloud9:

Yay for your marriage license! :lovestruc That is one important item you can check off the list. :thumbsup2

Your schedule looks tre fabu! We are planning on the same parks the 28th-30th so maybe we will run into each other! :wizard: Your dining choices are very nice and sound so yummy!

I have never used ME so I am no help there, but it sounds doable to me. :cutie:

Your plan looks GREAT!!! :thumbsup2 I wish I was going :sad1: lol You'll be going to see cirque du soliel on my 21st birthday!! :goodvibes Hope you have a GREAT trip I dont think having breakfast at that time is going to be a problem I mean its at 7:05 you should be fine are you checking in your bags at the hotel? That's what we did when we went so that we didn't have to worry about them thats something to look in to hope you have a great trip :flower3:

Oh, awesome!! I'm so glad we'll be able to do Cape May on our last day!! That's a good idea to bring the luggage down so we don't have to go back to the room for it! I'm pretty sure you can check in early with Southwest... that's who we used when we went to Florida last year and I'm pretty sure we checked in. The only problem is I don't think I'm going to bring my laptop. Do they have computers that I'd be able to do that one and then print out the info?

If we miss the Magical Express, $50 isn't bad for a cab to the airport!! Hopefully we don't miss it, but if we do at least I know not to freak out over it!:rotfl: I know, it is a VERY early flight out of Pittsburgh... we'll probably need to leave the house by 4:30! But I figured I probably won't be able to sleep much anyways, so I picked the early flight! I want to get to Disney asap! We had to take the early flight home though because DF is going to work the following day. Soo excited!!

Yay for your marriage license! :lovestruc That is one important item you can check off the list. :thumbsup2

I'm not sure if they have computers, but they have a kiosk set up for all airports that you check in and they take your luggage there. We did it last year with US Air and it worked out great.

Oh you guys will have a blast!! Your plans look great too, just make sure on one (or all) of those MK days you try a Dole Whip lol!

You will be so amazed by Cirque, it is a great show. I actually used to do aerial dance (in the silks like at Cirque) and the stregth of those dancers is so ridiculous! I could never do the things they do! Your jaw will just be dropping open the whole time.

9 days 9 days!!!!:banana::banana::banana:

I just caught up!!

First of all, I hope all is going well with your grandma .

Now that cake!! I love it! I absolutely love the idea of funfetti!! It's really going to mess up my diet the more I think about it. It's so creative, and going to look just beautiful .

Your honeymoon plan sounds amazing!! I love that you are going to Circ, and the Cali Grill! I am so, so excited for you! :yay:

You have to let me know the secret to holding it together the week before the wedding...you're doing so well!

Angela I LOVE the cake!! soooo pretty! I love funfetti too!

Your disney Itinerary looks awesome, idk if you've ever eaten at BOMA but its awesome!

Oh and you're going to get an amazing day weather wise for your wedding! Good luck with all of your final preperations!

Thank you, thank you! Never been to Boma, in fact I've never been ANYWHERE! I haven't been to WDW since like 1995, so I'm extra excited!:yay:

I've been tanning regularly in the tanning bed since the beginning of January. I went tanning today, and for some reason I'm super red and I feel like I'm kinda burnt!:headache: How the heck does that happen?? Tan for 4 months, and then burn a week before the wedding! So annoying. I think I'm done tanning until after the wedding, I don't want to look like a lobster in a white dress!:rotfl:

I FINALLY did the place cards this evening, what a PITA!!! So glad it's done! I'd take a pic, but I don't feel like going to get my camera... plus I don't think anybody really cares to see them... they're kinda boring, but serve their purpose.

Tomorrow we're meeting with the people at our reception place to finalize everything! Woo hoo!

Tomorrow will be 8 days!:cheer2:

Oh my goodness, only 8 DAYS tomorrow! That's crazy. I'm so excited for you!!! It will be here before you know it.

Man, I love dole whips!

I love your schedule! It makes me want to go to WDW tomorrow!!!

Anyway, as for tanning, that happened to me too!! You will be fine by the wedding, most likely! Even I was fine after it happned to me 7 days before! I am so excited to hear about your trip!

However there is another grad night on 5/2 (where they close Hlywd Studios for high school seniors only 7p-2a with special ticket). Weather still looking perfect for your big day!!)
