One month from today, guess where I will be... DISNEY WORLD!!!! I can't even believe it. I think I'm going to start packing this weekend, is that crazy???

Busy weekend for me! Tonight I'm going to se BRITNEY SPEARS!!!! You have no idea how excited I am! Has anybody seen the Circus tour yet?? I brought all her cds with me to work today, I'm listening to them all in my office, starting with Baby One More Time, going all the way to Circus!!! Yay!

Tomorrow I have an appointment for my hair trial. My regular hairstylist is doing my hair, so she already has an idea of what I want. I just need to remember to bring my tiara and veil with me. I need to go pick them up at my mom's house before I go.

Sunday, I have my makeup trial with my new makeup artist. I'm really excited. I really, really hope I like her better than the other one!

So exciting! My sis and mum went to see the circus but they had terrible sound and were so upset. Everyone who was closer though said it was amazing. Beware Pussycat dolls will be half naked (no surprise there)

First off - Congrats being one month out!! Weren't we just saying 90 days will go by in a blink? It literally did!!! I'm wicked excited for you *and already looking forward to the TR!

As for the jewelry, just gorgeous. IMHO it's the perfect size. It's not too much, and it's not too little. You don't want it to be super small and not show up in pictures. Now I'm wondering I should pick up the Gisele set!!

As for video camera - I brought mine one year and I honestly rarely used it. My digital camera has a good video setting if there's something I really want to catch. But with the size of yours, it's up to you. I would probably bring it just so I didn't kick myself for not bringing it!

And as for Britney - have a spiffy time!

Post once you get back from the makeup trial! Sending and that it goes better than the last one!

Thanks, Meg!! Yes, time is flying right on by!! I tried my jewelry on again today after my hair trial, and I love it! I think I just am not used to big jewelry, so I was second guessing myself, but I definately love it now! Hmm, I think I'll bring the video camera, and if I don't use it, than oh well! Oh, and Britney was AWESOME! Pics coming in a few...

OMG. The Britney concert was amazing! If Circus hasn't been to your city yet, then get tickets and GO!

The concert made me realize how much I really like my new camera! We had good seats, but weren't super close, but I managed to get some pretty good pics!!

Ok, back to wedding related stuff!

I had my hair trial today. Of course I slept in and was rushing out the door and forgot to grab all the pics that I printed out to show her what I wanted. And, I still had to go pick up my tiara and veil from my mom and dad's house before my appt. So as I was walking out the door, I called my mom and told her I was running late and was just going to run in and grab it so she could have it ready for me. Well, I get there and she proceeds to tell me that my veil is MISSING. So I grabbed my tiara and ran out the door so I could at least make my appt. on time. On the way there, I called DF to check in our room with all the wedding crap and see if he can find it anywhere (I KNOW it was at my parents' house, but I thought maybe for some reason I brought it home and forgot about it). Of course, it wasn't there. Sooo, if it doesn't turn up, I may be getting married veil-less.

Now, maybe I'm just super picky, but I wasn't 100% happy with my my hair trial either!!! (Notice I'm still rockin the Britney shirt )

After the trial, I went home to make sure my dress fit... I don't remember if I mentioned this before, but when I tried it on the last time when I picked it up from my fitting, the zipper barely went up and I couldn't breathe! So, I cut chocolate out of my diet by giving it up for Lent, and voila, it's a perfect fit!

Still not liking the hair... kinda reminds me of the Cowerdly Lion.

So then I thought, maybe if I pinned it all up I'd like it...

Ok, maybe that's a little better.

My little nephew was at my parents house too, so of course I had to hang out with him a while... here's a bragging photo. I have the cutest little nephew!

So I went home and told DF how I did not like my hair and was thinking about just wearing it all up, and he said "NO". Grr. So I took all the bobby pins out and brushed it and tried playing with it myself, and I think I want to wear it like this:

I think what I didn't like about it the first time from the trial is it was too stiff and curled looking, and after I brushed it out it was more soft and natural. Plus, I don't think I like the curls on the top of my head. Definaly like it pulled back lower. So I'm going to show her these pics of how I want it (that won't offend her, right?). Maybe more volume at the crown. I think I'm going to skip the tiara too, which kinda makes me mad because I spent $100 on it, but I don't want to wear it for that reason only. Plus with the jewelry, I think the tiara may be going overboard. Now I'm just HOPING we can find that veil!!!

I wore my hair up for all the proms, and when I look back at pictures, I hated it!

Oh, and I dumped my ex-makeup artist via e-mail. I just told her that I decided to not have my makeup done.

Ok, so today was the makeup trial with the new makeup artist. Now let me say I was really excited for this one. The work on her website is absolutely fabulous, she's been doing this for 20 something years, and I had really high hopes with her.

However, I'm beginning to think there's something the matter with me, because I did not like this one either:

I'm not really sure why she felt the need to darken my eyebrows. Also, purple eyeshadow??? I told her natural colors, pinks and browns... and she gives me purple eyeshadow! And where's my much needed dark brown eyeliner???

Good Grief.

I've officially given up on makeup artists. I will be doing my own makeup for the wedding.

P.S. I bought Beverly Hills Chihuahua today! So freakin cute! I loved it! And if you watch the extra features section, they talk about how alot of the dogs in the movie were rescued from pounds, including Papi, who was about to be euthanized!!! Way to go DISNEY!!

Thanks! NO! The veil is still missing! I don't know what I'm going to do if it's not found! I don't know if I should just go veil-less, or just get another one.

I agree with you about your hair and make up. The pics of your hair at the shop are too fixed. You can see exactly how she curled your hair. Although your hair looks tre fabu in the updo I must say I like how you pulled it back on the last couple of pics. I think that is my fave. It pulls your hair away from your face and off your shoulders just enough to really show off the strapless dress yet still gives you long flowing locks in the back. Once you did that your curls look much much more natural and I think its great.

I totally understand about the eye liner situation. Eye liner can just help the eyes pop sometimes and I know I love it. You are very blessed though and you will look great no matter who does your make up so no worries. This make up trial is not too far away from the first though so doing your own make up may be the most satisfying way to get what you want.

Im so excited for you!

Oh and your nephew is so handsome and adorable! i love his "tux" From one proud aunt to another he is a keeper!

My personal opinion is the make-up is still looking shine to me alittle. And if you don't LOVE it then there's no point in paying someone to do it. And the hair I loved it once you put it up!! But I also loved it when you put it back down and brushed it out and had the very soft lose curls. But mainly it's up to you and what you like!

What is with these makeup artists? I agree do it yourself. Not that you look bad (I don't think you could look bad!! ) but they're not getting what you want.
