Angela & Matthew - Home Wedding 4/25/2009 & Disneymoon - I'm MARRIED!!!!

Only $33????? I thought I got a deal at $85!!!!!!!:rotfl: I will have to check it out!!!!

$85 is a good deal! They have a table right as you go into the outlet where they have $75 bags... and they are nice bags! I bought one in 07 for $75 and 2 months later saw it at Marshalls for $189!! So you can get some great deals! I found a cute wristlet for $13 this year too!
wow, I have issues with shopping lol!:rotfl:

So cute, you are ready to go with all those spring time colors!!)
Do you just wake up and smile you are ssssoooooo close to wedding day?!?!?!

If you're getting such awesome deals, it's definately not a shopping issue!! How could you possibly pass up those prices?!?!

Yay! I love springy colors!!! Actually I wake up everymorning and thing GRR, I have to go to work... it's not until I'm actually at work that I start thinking woo hoo, it's so soon!! Then I can't concentrate on anything work related all day!!!!:rotfl2:

Thank you! I love to hear other people's rescue stories!!! I hate when people worry about "breed standards" blah blah blah, unless you're going to show them and compete, then what's the difference?? It's so sad. I just don't get people who spends hundreds-thousands of dollars to purchase a dog... I just don't think dogs should have a value on their life... a purebred golden retriever or a teacup yorkie or an english bulldog, or whatever dogs people are willing to spends tons of money on... that doesn't make their dogs any better than mine...

A pit/boxer mix at 30lbs sounds so pitiful. :( Poor little guy! I will have to check out your pics of them!

It's just so different rescuing a dog as opposed to "buying" them off a breeder or pet store. When you have to patiently wait for them to gain your trust because they've been so emotionally damaged, you realize that they're no longer "Just a dog" and they do have feelings too. And most people won't ever know the difference unless they rescue a dog of their own or they spend time in an animal shelter.

Hmm, this has nothing to do with my wedding... my next post will be back on topic...I promise!:thumbsup2

So, I just stumbled onto your PJ, and I had to comment on this, because my puppy is a rescue too! We have no idea what she is, and she was turned in with her two sisters... She was so scared when we got her! But she's a total people lover now! I'm thoroughly enjoying your PJ, btw, (I just started mine, and it's pretty late since there's only 2 1/2 months to go! But, we are Disneymooning, so I figured I could roll the pre-TR and PJ all into one!) and I really can't wait to finish reading it!

Aww, you have a little rescue pup too!!! How sweet!!!:dogdance: I think that once you rescue a dog, you can never go to a breeder or a Petland ever again.

Thanks for reading my PJ! I'm going to go check out yours, 2 1/2 months early is better than never! :thumbsup2

So I decided to change the colors the guys will be wearing a little bit... We originally had the groomsmen in black vests and pink tie... I never liked that idea, I thought it should be pink vest and pink tie, but DF says it's too much pink. So I decided to just make them wear black vest/black tie, and no pink. And the dads, who were going to wear black are now going to wear silver.

I'm also considering doing a "Trash the Dress" photo session after the wedding. I talked to my photographer, and she had some great ideas, but I don't think I actually want to trash the dress, because I was planning on donating it to Brides Against Breast Cancer.

I know alot of people preserve theirs, but for what? It would just take take up room at my house, and it's not like I'd ever wear it again, and we all know that there's no point in saving it for my future daughter.

So anyways, back to Trash the Dress. I saw girls talking about Trash the Dress pics on The Knot a while back and wasn't exactly sure what it was, so I googled it and found these two pics:

DF has a Harley, and I would LOVE to have pics of us on it!! I think it would be so cute, and I know DF would love it! So I kinda hate to schedule a Trash the Dress photosession just for this, but I can't figure out how to fit this in on the day of our wedding, unless we go back to our house to get them done. It's not far from the church, but I just feel like it might take up too much time! I wish we could somehow chain the bike up to the limo and take it to the park with us to get pics!:rotfl:

Hmm, should I do trash the dress or just skip it?

You might want to see if there's a close friend or relative your DF would trust with his Harley.. maybe they could take it to the park while your getting your other pics done? I'm an amateur photographer, and I did a wedding with my BF, and while she was doing pics of the bride, I had the groom and groomsmen at a park, and the groom and his dad drove their Harleys there.. I got some great portraits of them. Maybe your DF could take the Harley to church, and someone could get it to the park from there? Other than that, a trash the dress photo session could be done without actually trashing the dress... Some places call that "aftershots".

I like the harley pics. Thanks so much for the info on the breast cancer donation thing. I am thinking I may do that with my dress.

I know DF would trust his dad with his bike, but I hate to ask his dad to do it because he'll be busy with wedding stuff too! I'm thinking he has a friend who he might trust, but I'm not sure... he's very protective with his bike! I don't think I really want DF actually riding the bike anywhere on the day of the wedding... his hair would get messed up.:rotfl: Hmmm, I'll talk to him about it so we don't have to pay for "Trash the dress" pics after the wedding. Thanks for your ideas!!

Thanks! If you're not planning on saving your dress for whatever reason, you totally should do it! I think it's great that people came up with idea to start this group! It's such a nice way for them to raise money for cancer!

Oh those Harley pics are gorgeous! I hope you figure out some way to get it done!

Harley pics are a fun idea, hope it works out for you- maybe you can schedule photog after Disney trip - you'll be "sun-kissed" tan, hopefully!!!Even if you give it to DF for your 1 year anniversary!!

Love your Brides Against Breast Cancer idea, thank you!!)

Thank you!! Hopefully it will work out! When I talked to my photographer about it, we discussed doing it in late May/early June, so that might be what we end up doing if we don't figure out a way to do it the day of! I just don't want to have to pay to rent another tux, plus pay for the pics! And I won't get my hair, makeup and nails done for it! I just wish there was an easy way to take the bike with us!!

I'm sure you guys will figure something out... where there's a will, there's a way! I'll send some pixie dust your way to make it easier! :wizard: :)

love the trash the dress idea, the harley shot would be awesome for sure! Would you wear cute red high heels too, I say go for it!
