Angel hair (spun glass)?

Has anyone seen this for sale any where? I haven't bought any for a few years and now that I've run out I can't find it. Thanks.

Thanks for the links JessicaR. I'm looking for the stuff that was sold in the USA that wasn't curly though.

I use it for snow or clouds around Christmas decorations on my mantel etc. I've heard that a lot of people used to put it on their tree. Have you ever seen The Christmas Story? They had angel hair on their tree.

The Amazon link says it's no longer sold in stores. I haven't bought it in awhile, but I think I probably found it at Walmart.

That said, while I do love it, it's a mess! I have a large glass snowman on my island and I use it around that but the strands are often floating around....I wonder if you could get a similar effect using batting?

We used it on our tree when I was a kid. I remember my mom wouldn't let us kids put it on..she or dad did it. We also put icicles on first. Can you imagine a tree with all that and angel hair...and a cat which climbed to the top? My dad was so mad, poor cat.

I wonder if the fibers are safe. You are supposed to use a respirator mask when you work with fiberglass insulation and this stuff surely is similar. Maybe that is why it isn't around much.

I loved Spun Glass! I used to buy it years ago and my kids knew that they were not ever to touch it but once I added kitties to my family I had to stop adding the pretty "snow" to my decorations. I had to stop using tinsel too.
