Ok, I thought at first it would be stupid. Okay, it was, but it was funny! I want an 'Angel' puppet!
Here's hoping UPN picks up the series.

Yeah, the episode was better than my exceedingly low expectations for it. The plot moved along. The Gunn stuff, Fred and Wesley, Nina and Angel (I am cringing at the last part. They can be good friends. I allow them no more!)

When the puppet vamped out, I nearly fell over laughing.

Best quote from the show: "You ever seen the last few seasons of Happy Days?":rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

WDWHound... "When the puppet vamped out, I nearly fell over laughing."

That's what got us laughing so much, it was funny!

OMG you guys!! I'm dying to see it. We have it taped, but haven't watched it yet. I would pop it in now while the kids are napping, but DH would KILL :duck: me if I watched it without him!

I am truly looking foward to a vamped out Angel puppet ::yes:: :teeth:

It was a great episode!

But I just found out that this is Angel's last season. The network won't pick it up.

Me too!
:jumping1:

I want a "regular" Angel puppet that can "morph" into Vamp Angel (pull a string and the fangs come down and the face changes...).

I hope somebody picks up the series!!!

Ginny,
We need to petition the toy companies to make us our 'Angel' dolls!
Smiles,
Diane =0)

What did everyone think of tonights episode? I thought Amy
Acker (Fred) was really terrific. Did anyone catch the The Nightmare Before Christmas reference?

I didn't catch the reference - where was it?

I did catch that the book Wes was reading to Fred was "A Little Princess", though.

My one worry is how in the world Joss Whedon is going to wrap up all the loose ends - like the Shanshu prophecy - in as few eps as he's got left?

If the series is gonna buy the farm, I want closure, dangit! ;)

Sorry, but interviews with JW & DF indicate that there won't be closure, plans are to finish S5 as they had originally planned.

Spike said something about the hole in the tree leading to Christmasland.

I would like closure too. Although I thought the Buffy finale was pretty darn perfect even with the loose ends.

I interpreted David Fury's comments differently than Whitegloves. I haven't read anything saying the Shanshu prophecy wouldn't be resolved. I think a battle with an ancient and powerful goddess(?) would qualify as apocalyptic. Perhaps it was their intention all along for Angel to once again be human at the end of the season. I doubt it but I certainly don't haven't read anything to the contrary.
