Does anyone know of any of the WDW apps or even a website that has tried to show when fastpasses are out for the day on a particular ride?

The Disney web site also now offers updates for your droid phone. I am really not sure what exactly they will update me of, but I did sign up. Apparently they will start sending me messages the day of my trip.

Intreasting where did you find that? is it only text messages? Do you have to have verizon?

Of course I can't remember exactly where I saw it in the first place! BUT

you can browse to m.disneyworld.go.com to view whats going on at parks & resorts today, and you can browse by fast pass availability. you do have to dig in a bit

I also got the text thing from 8886350110---see what happens if you text it.

i am going to look a little further. i know I found it online because i am pretty sure I signed up on the disney web site

Congratulations! Your registration to Disney's Mobile Program will give you access to helpful text messages, attraction wait times and other vacation shortcuts, special offers and features that will help enhance your visit.

You can access Disney theme park information through text messages during the dates you provided on your registration. If you did not provide vacation dates when you registered, you can access this information up to 12 different days per calendar year.

Here's how it works: along with the helpful messages you will receive from Disney to your mobile phone, you will be able to text the keyword WAIT and the name of Disney attractions to get wait times or the keyword MEET and the name of your favorite Character to get Meet and Greet times and locations while you're in the parks, up to a total of 4 texts per day. Standard text messaging fees apply. It's easy, just text your request to 37275. For example, if you want the wait time for Space Mountain, just text WAIT SPACE, or if you want to find where Mickey will be appearing, just text MEET MICKEY.

Thanks for the replies,

I have the lines app installed. Now that I know it shows fastpass info, I will pay for the full version before I go.

And I had the WDW mobile website shortcut on one of my screen and had actually noticed the fastpass availability option. But I wasn't sure it it was just a general listing by category, or updated throughout the day. I checked periodically during the day today and it does change. Not sure how close it is to real time, but it is better than nothing.

We plan to go into Epcot around 5:00 on our first day there and wasn't sure it it would even be worth trying to get any fastpass. This will help us decide.

thanks for the info! I love my droid and i now love this page but it took me a while to find the site because tourplans.com brings you to a brazilian vacation site!
