Andreah and Brian - Dec 8th, 2009 (Reception Photos Posted)

Okay, I'm in. This is fun :)

Your leading man (I think) in the Prelude is Alan Silvestri. The Father of the Bride music tipped me off right away (which is also your processional). He also did the soundtrack for A Christmas Carol and Forest Gump. And maybe Serendipity is in there?

The Presentation of the Roses is from Wall-E! Ah, my heart just melted hearing that!

Aaaaand.. that's all I got.

Oooh you're good!

The Prelude is a blend of:
(1) Forest Gump - the part where he sees Jenny in DC and the meet up at the reflection pool. I think it's the happiest moment in movie history!
(2) Father of the Bride - the part where it starts snowing
(3) A Christmas Carol
(4) Serendipity
(5) ???

My processional is the theme from Father of the Bride. I did not want the traditional "Here Comes the Bride" / "Canon in D". I was leaning toward using the "Father of the Bride" theme as a prelude / guest seating song until Brian convinced me it would be cool as the Bride processional.

The presentation of roses is "Define Dancing" from Wall-E. Brian and I just LOVE the music from Wall-E. It's amazing!

Love your recessional song, I'm a HUGE Beatles fan.....and the version you picked from the "Love" Cirque Du Soleil show....:thumbsup2

Yup! I was "born and raised" on Beatles' music, so this song was the one I knew we needed for sure!

And - like most of the music we chose - it has a very special significance. When I saw that Circque du Soliel was doing "Love", I immediately said I wanted to go see it. I bought him the soundtrack CD as a gift for our first Christmas together. And a few months later, Brian and I took a trip to Las Vegas and he took me to see the show! :lovestruc

That's awesome! When my mom and I were in Las Vegas last summer we tried to go see it but it was sold out (although I loved just hanging out at the Mirage and listening to the music :hippie: ) That and we met Mickey Dolenz from the Monkeys while hanging out. :cool2: 13 days to go!

Great music choices! I love the recessional song at the end, it reminds me of "Love Actually", and I love that movie!

I tried without cheating and only recognized the two Father of the Brides pieces.

Father of the Bride is my favorite movie ever! If I had thought of it before our wedding, I would use that idea!!

I love how creative even the music pieces are! Enjoy it! When I heard the music start for our wedding, thats when it hit me!:goodvibes

I didn't post any answers... Because I was cheating

Good ol' shazaam! :rotfl:

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Do you know what that means? It's . . .

:cool1:  :woohoo: :yay: :cheer2: :dance3: :cheer2: :yay: :woohoo:  :cool1:

SINGLE DIGIT DANCE DAY!

And thanks to all of you who participated in my little music game. Here are the answers:

Prelude / Guest Seating: Forest Gump, Father of the Bride, A Christmas Carol, Serendipity, The Holiday

Family Processional: Cavatina (I didn't know of this as a "movie song", I just picked it off an album of classical music, although I heard it was used as a theme for a movie I haven't seen called "The Deer Hunter")

Groom / Minister Processional: Back to the Future

Bridal Party Processional: Friendship Theme from the movie Beaches

Bride Processional: Father of the Bride

Presentation of Roses: Define Dancing from Wall-E

Unity Candle: Reign of Love by Coldplay

Recessional: All You Need is Love by the Beatles

I hope everyone has a GREAT and safe holiday!

Oh, I hope it holds up!

I've just caught up on Petals & Pixie Dust's PJ, who's wedding is today, and got all excited, now I've come over and caught up on yours, whose wedding is in just over a weeks time! The excitement is really getting to me... :lmao: I'm going over to read my PJ through again now, to remind myself that I still have 15 months to wait, and to stop getting so hyper over it!! :rotfl:

Just wanted to pop over to say I can't wait to meet up at Disapalooza next Saturday. I can't wait to hear about the wedding! Glad to hear the weather is looking great!
