Here are the latest of many new rules from another message board that I wander through. I might not show up to often any more.

THIS IS NOT FROM THE DIS!!!

Members please forgive me for the short rant I feel necessary to post below!

1) DO NOT BUMP....ever....ever....ever
2 ) That does not mean EVERYTHING can be pinned.
3) Do not only post with a smile...or LOL...or a quote!
4) Do not post a direct comment to another member on the board...that is what the pm function is for.

I took #2 to mean that something can't be "stuck" - as in, staying at the top of the board where the rules usually are. Maybe not? LOL

By "pinned", I think they mean the posts that are stuck at the tops of some forums.

The rules for posting on the DIS are pretty loose and very friendly compared to many bulletin boards.

The DIS posting rules mostly boil down to:

* No profanity/dirty jokes/sex talk
* No fighting, argumentative posts or personal attacks
* No advertising

Almost every thread that gets locked or deleted and pretty much every poster who's no longer welcome to post here can be attributed to one of those reasons.

Hi, Pam. How was your day?

Just found this post as I smiled and ran last night!

My day? Hmmmmm...... answered the phone nonstop yesterday, got yelled at, ran to school and helped my DH pour gas into my son's car (long story......), did laundry, paid bills, typed up what seemed to be 1,000 proposals, went to office - left office, made a display for my son's Boy Scout presentation for new recruits - funny thing was, 37 Cub Scouts blew the event off, ordered pizza, got a computer virus......

Basically, same old, same old.... how was your day??
