We were there during the hurricane last year when they closed the parks. Lots of torrential rain that week! I had some flip flops with the strap around the ankle that saved my feet! I can't stand wet shoes. One thing I will add with the ponchos..bring a hat! The hood keeps your head dry, but it doesn't keep the rain off your face. A hat was a lifesaver!
