...
Back last night. Kiddo off to school this morning. Now, I'm just sitting here trying to make my brain work again.

So far, it's not working as planned.
Missed you ladies!

Sorry for not checking in more. Those of you leaving or about to, safe travels. Thanks for all the kind words about Miss M. She did save the half of that milkshake for later.

Seriously. I guess at that point it was more of a chocolate milk-shake. So, we had two tributes to our lovely Sarah: once at Beaches & Cream and once over at The Fountain (in the Dolphin).
What a whirlwind. Shew. (I love these little short trips though; they seem to work best for us.) As for the YC, wow... what can I say? Now, it doesn't have the grand lobby of lots of the other hotels but it's a serious contender now for us between YC and BC. (I think it'd boil down to which had a standard view available. We spend absolutely zero time out on the balcony so it doesn't really matter about the view.) The Christmas decor was still up at the YC&BC as well as over at the Boardwalk Inn. Very pretty. Back to the YC: It was very quiet and calm compared to the hustle and bustle of the BC. Not much between them though for us, I'd say. Since we walked over to the S&D twice to eat and it's a bit closer to the dock, it's got those two things as minor advantages to us but staying there at either the BC or the YC is just the bee's knees for our little trio.
We didn't do MK this trip since the thought of those crowds put us off. We did HS one day and Epcot on another with a down day in between. Saw the Osborne Lights for the first time which were FABULOUS! I was not feelin' the Christmas "thing" being that it was after Christmas. (It's a weird thing... come the evening of the 25th I'm kinda feel like the air has been let out of my Christmas balloon.

Mind you, the trees are still up.

) Anyhow, I wasn't feelin' it... until I saw those lights at HS. WOW! Lovely.
Another first for us was Fantasmic!
Jen: You've GOTTA take the girls next time; they'll LOVE it. Just like our RCing experts said, we only got in the line roughly 30 mins beforehand and had perfect seats. Even with the park being super-packed. It was very worth it.
It was so lovely meeting
I_Heart.

She pulled a Mission Impossible and snuck us up to CL

so Miss M could get one of those beloved sugar cookies with the MM sprinkles on them. What do they put in those anyhow?

She finds them totally irresistible. Thanks for the pin too, I_Heart! She's put it up on our board already.

(Wanted to pick your brains about the parks and resorts more but didn't want to hog your time.)
The weather was pretty wonderful, for the most part. We got to swim twice. Only drizzly-rained on us one day, only a bit chilly on one day, too.
So, the hubs ... I adore that man ... he up and says to me when we were both being mopey before getting on the ME to take us back to the airport yesterday, "And here's where we get on the bus to plan our next trip." *SWOON* I'm not sure when ... but he wants to go back as much as I do.
Can you smell the wood burning, ladies? I'm already getting in "plan-mode."

Be prepared to have your brains picked over time of year, etc.
