Me either...we'll see if they really look like that Since they have queen beds now, I think we'll be fine. While we loved FW cabins, the bed almost did DH in. And yes!!! Do get a peek in one and let me know...I'm so curious

I think DH would hate Spring Break. But it is one of the busiest weeks of his year. So I am thinking I will just steal away for a few days with the kids and he can work - Although, he might surprise me and say no way are you going without me! If he doesn't go, we can stay somewhere that only sleeps 4 (WL maybe?) or I could take both grandmas and possibly stay at AoA

It's it super hot when our hubby's say/do stuff like that? Last year, I found my DH in our locked bedroom, laying in bed, with a laptop on his tummy, ear buds, in his ears......pricing WDW trips. Then he said that we had to move our trip up b/c he couldn't pass up on the good room only deals. It was the hottest thing I have ever seen him do and hottest thing he has ever said to me.

While my hubby loves the World, he usually doesn't initiate such conversations...not sure what's gotten into him She does know that we are going for her bday, but doesn't know which resort....a very last minute trip. She doesn't realize that these Royal Princess rooms exist, so hopefully she'll be a little surprised. We're going to have a bday gift waiting on her in the room.

I think mine just tolerates it because he knows I love it so much. This next trip will be the last one we have for a while to WDW. There are too many other places we want to go with the boys before they leave home. Next the DH would love to do a train trip out to LA. We would see the tar pits, the walk of fame, go to Universal. Then rent a car to drive up to Redding. The DH lived there for a while and wants to show it to the boys. Then see Mt. Shasta and the Redwood Forest. The kicker is he wants to take me all the way to CA and not let me go to DL.

I'm sure she will love it!! I wanted to stay in one for our last trip. When I showed the pictures to the DSs, they said it was "too girly".

You're too cute. DD (14) LOVES Halloween, too. In fact, in August we bought Mickey Halloween ornaments on Main Street. DD put them up in her room as soon as we got home. They were (reluctantly) removed and stored away after Christmas. She thought I was being unreasonable. Moms are never unreasonable. I got back at her by putting her old Winnie the Pooh flannel sheets on her bed yesterday. I thought she'd protest, but so far, she hasn't said anything

I thought last Spring Break (our first) would be terrible, but it wasn't at all. We did a BWI/CL and WL/CL split and the lounges weren't crowded. Wait times were longer, but we got FPs and have been many times so we didn't stress over skipping something with a long line. Room prices are higher, so maybe that also keeps people away? The weather was perfect - no rain, not too warm, (it was the end of March, beginning of April).

Sorry I've been less active lately, just very hectic with the holidays and all my running around -- today was my interview, so now it's just a waiting game and I should know in a couple weeks whether I was successful or not. I am a tad scared, hoping I didn't bite off more than I can chew! Well we will see what the decision is soon.

My DS 16 has said he'd like me to take him and his BFF to Disneyland next yr (perhaps in FEB) -- if I get the job it may be something I think about -- however it would be a shorter trip/ probably 4 days in DL and a tour to Universal Studios California. I've heard that a DL trip could be as expensive as a 9 day WDW trip! That's scary and would be a deal breaker as I want to go to WDW again in Jan 2015--- so this DL trip would have to be cheaper than I am used to -- hopefully under $5K
I don't know how important on site is at DL -- maybe Linda can jump in and let me know her thoughts/ recommendations?? I'm loving the Disneyland hotel, but my pocket book may not love it in the end! Any off site hotel recommendations if on site is not necessary?? If I get my FT job, it may be something

For the DL Diva trip I'm staying at the Hilton. Walking distance to the parks, etc or a short distance to the Toy Story parking lot to catch a shuttle. We usually walk to the park but take the shuttle back in the evening. I just got a great deal there. Give me notice and I can pop down there for a couple of days or so. End of February might be the Diva trip again.

I have cruised on other cruise lines for no shorter than a week, and I just couldn't wrap my head around a 3 day cruise. It seems like we would just be getting settled in and have to be getting ready to go! So....I changed to 9 nights GVCL at the Yacht Club and saved at least $1,000 in the process. My DH doesn't know the resort I switched to (He's a Deluxe kind of guy ), and my girls don't even know we are going on a trip! Surprises for everyone!!

I'm so excited about going back to WDW,and very excited about the Yacht Club and Stormalong Bay, but I have a bit of cruise remorse right now. Will someone please tell me I'm going to be okay

Ok Found out Poly volcano pool is supposed to undergo refurb during my stay it is supposed be complete by march 1 but they say the slide and pool will be closed. I check in on Feb 27. ARGH.

Ok my trip to Poly last March slide was closed most of trip, and the year before at BWV the Luna pool was closed for our whole stay. We are from New England it was hot for us and we definitely make use of relaxing by pool and slide is huge for my son.

Can't believe I am considering changing again to BC or YC CL

Nothing gets past you, Heather! You're right, this may be a first, but I currently have no WDW reservations, hence no ticker.
