After putting up my Disney Christmas tree with the Monorail around it and all the other Disney decorations, and switching resorts from Poly to POR and now possibly AKl my boyfriend is now understanding my Disney obsession I told him I am not alone and had to show him this thread well he had a laugh I think he's glad it's not just me !! He did comment that seems to be a lot of nurses lol.

We just left the eye Dr. ( The chairs had lots if circles) And I said look at the chairs what do you see he laughed and said omg I see hidden mickeys!!!!

Looking forward to our 1st Disney trip together.

Okay, can I admit my sins of retail therapy here? I know I can. No Tarjay lately but I did buy Miss M another winter coat for Christmas (this'll make #3 now ) I couldn't help it because Land's End had a $40 off $100 and Free Shipping. The email coming home reminding parents that outdoor recess will happen throughout the winter for all temperatures above 5°F didn't help either. Hubs doesn't understand coats and how the thinner ones won't cut it. Or I could just be obsessed with outerwear.

I totally agree with your opinion.

I found this knitting t-shirt that says, "I knit so I don't kill people". I tell my DH all the time that, "I knit and plan Disney World trips so I don't kill people."

On the upside, at least now I know that my DH agrees with me that no matter how much his parent's think they still need me, when I am finished with my computer programming degree and get a job with it, we're outta here.

Don't worry, my neighbor's daughter has it much worse. My dear neighbor always sends me her granddaughter's hand me downs and I just got a bag with 11 coats sized 2T to 3T! DH and I crack up when trying to decide which one to put on her. Is it a pea coat day dahling, or are we feeling more trench coat-y?

Seriously though. Miss M needs to stay warm and mama's just doin' her job

I know what that's like. I've been living that rollercoaster for a year.Thankfully we have never had to worry about job loss just a transfer. It's very difficult to live with men when they're stressed about their jobs. Hang in there. Wishing you the best.

I am slowly recovering, it's tough having surgery right off of chemo I have been reading the pages I missed the past few days, a lot going on, some good, some not so much. Hugs to everyone I think I need to start with a clean slate. AND thank you for the milkshake tribute, it was great!

One thing I have to say is i heart the mouse, your daughter is soooo cute. Love the ensemble and I am so glad to hear she did so well yesterday

Apparently the monkey is owned by a local real estate agent in her 30's (i think?) who has been raising the monkey. People are up in arms that the monkey should be returned to her as it is the only home it has ever known. I heard the owner on a radio program saying that normally he "knows to stay in the car when I shop, but I guess he felt he wanted to be in the store with me.'

at the monkey in the coat. It's so cute!! That person should get more than a fine though, or at least a bigger one. I can't believe what some people will try and get away with.

My DH went into a customers house and saw this huge (like 4'x4' and at least 5' tall) cage. It looked kinda like a little bit bigger version of the one his aunt has for her parrots, so he thought that's what it was for. He looked on the floor of it, and saw a "stuffed" monkey on a pillow, and then the monkey started moving. The man told him it was a squirrel monkey, and I need one!! They are so cute!! Then again, I think I need a Great Pyrenees, Great Dane, Dalmatian, Scottish Wolfhound, Mastiff (English and Bull), Newfoundland, St. Bernard, Beagle, Malamute, Husky, and a Pomsky. See that's why I need to win a big lottery...to be able to afford a place big enough for all those big dogs, be able to afford to feed, them, and afford someone to shovel all their presents they will leave in the yard.

omg I just realized that today is 12/12/12 and when I wake up to get the boys off to school, I can make my ADRs for June.

We may have to keep the trip then. The fil and mil are having trouble with one of their current techs and the fil was gripping about people taking off in December. If the DH is dead set on changing it to June, I may just have to lie and tell them that is the only time I can have off school. It is believable since I am getting down to having mostly only computer programming classes left and they only offer them certain semesters.

So, today is Yankee Swap pot lunch day at work...absolutely nothing is gonna get done...we do it up!

So, imagine my surprise when I get an email from my director for me to come in to his office (we just spoke about my raise a few days ago....).

Well, they have decided to make my raise retroactive to April 1st of this year, so I will have all that is back owed to me paid in the next paycheck!!!! (Like $2000+)

I am so excited, and so blessed to be working for such an amazing company!!!

Merry Christmas to me!!!!
