and then there's this guy......

Honestly, is there any way to just make him go away?

Is there anything good to say about him? At all? Any kind of redeeming quality that we may have missed (besides that whole Lothario thing)

Ugh, just ugh......

Yeah, its sooooo sad:upsidedow

hehehehehehehe

Yup, and he got elected running on a "family values" campaign. :headache:

*Sigh*

I stand by what I said before: Between 80-90% of all politicians should be booted out the proverbial D.C. door and find themselves in the unemployment line. They work for us, but too bad most of them forget that.

The problem is that if you kicked every politician out that has had or will have affairs...Washington would be deserted. Just a plain fact of life, so to speak. Those with power personalities are most likely to be, how to say this, wanderers.:confused3

Hmmm, maybe we should have term limits. ONE term per person, period.

Terms cannot be more than four years.

No outside money from lobbiests.

all elected officals will live in a government apartment building. (no "house" renovations needed, and no outside money needed for a house.)

busses will take them to their office's!

Oh, and appoint a commission of citizens to oversee the performance. (sorta like the civilian review board of police departments, to investigate wrong doing!)

An make them all wear bright orange safety vests, so that when they are around, pages and women can be very wary of them!!

hehehehehehe

Affairs are bad enough, but with this guy the allegation is he used taxpayer money to pay his mistress off. That's what makes it that much worse than your typical amoral politician. :headache:

ITA!

Michigan is trying to do something similar to this right now. We wanted to get it on the ballot for this NOV but for some reason, certain people in the State house/senate didn't want to push it through, in fact they held it back. They want it to be on the ballot in a non-presidential election year.:sad2:

We have that system now...it's called the election and reelection process. Good grief if you limited it to one term they would have nothing to lose and just go crazy for that entire term.

If they are good you reelect them, if they are jerks it's out on their ear. It should work, but, it doesn't always.

We actually have the one term limit for Governors in Virginia. I don't know how many other states do, but I like it. Not sure how I would feel about that being carried over to the Federal level for Congress though.
