I got it!!! I got it!!!



I have in my hands my holy grail....The Tokyo Blood Donor pin!!

And yes I cried..real tears and sobbing I was so happy and emotional.

I have to thank Figgy, Nat, Robyn and whoever else saw it in the book and told him not to trade it because I was coming down. And to everyone that said they would help me with pins so I could get it.

It took my ONE good pin (I only had one GOOD pin) and the trader was generous with me. Now he is going to find the other three for me!!!!!

I can go home now.....NOT!!!!!!

There were definitely pixies at work here.

First of all, the mysteriously generous trader is none other than one of our own . . . Fantasia Mickey!

I saw the pin in his book about a week before Deb arrived. I offered him whatever he wanted for it. He told me, "No. The pin is on hold for someone."

Apparently Figgy and a few other DIS folks had similar exchanges with Fantasia Mickey in the week prior to the Contemporary meet of November 30th.

Little did we know, we were all trying to help the very same pinpal.

Well, Deb shows up pretty late on the night of the 30th because she wasn't feeling well. About six people tell her to check out what's in this trader's book. Within moments, the deal is done, and the rest is history.

The tears were real. I saw them.

So who are the pixies who first asked Fantasia Mickey to hold onto the pin for EKF?

I saw the pin in Andreas's book on Friday and the Cast Blast and told him I really really needed that pin.. He said he was holding it because several people had asked him about it for one person...

I said I am not sure who you are holding it for but my person is more deserving...HEHE ( turns out to be the same person..) Once we figured out he was holding it for her I said just give me the darn pin and we will work it out later so like an innocent lamb he just handed it over..HEHE

I gave it to her at dinner that night and she kept petting it...HEHE She came to the Contemp meet after the Merry Party just to meet up with him. She was giddy but pretty calm because she kept saying it was still on loan and until she worked out what to give him for it she wasn't going to think of it as hers...HEHE

As soon as she worked it out with him though the flood gates opened... Andreas was truly part of the Disney Pin Trading Spirit as always.

So that is 1 down and 3 to go...HEHE
