And the winner for the best La Cava margarita is....

Yummy, I want to try the jalapeno and maybe an avacodo also. I usually end up alone at Epcot with my 9 year old DD because my DH doesn't really love the WS, do you think I could bring my DD in with me to enjoy an app while mommy has a margarita or two? That would help fortify me for all the Kim Possible missions that my DD will want to drag me on.

:lmao: Instead of going there, I opted for the Grand Marnier and Golden Goose slushies in France. Kim Possible was so much fun!! And we did every single mission.

Wow every single mission! We did it the last two years but I'm not sure if we actually done everyone or not yet, I'll have to pay more attention this year. Last year my DD insisted on finishing up the Japan mission in a downpour, I had to call my DH to meet us in Japan with dry clothes so we could make our ADR at Coral Reef. I do really like those drinks in France but Margaritas are my all time favorite drink ever.

Oh, I did that, too. I tried the Grey Goose one this time since last time I got a free Grand Mariner one courtesy of Samantha Brown.

By the way, all these margaritas and the slushie was over the course of 3 days at Epcot. I'm not that big of a lush!

I can't wait to try this place this next trip! I can't believe a margarita has gone undiscovered by my DH and I in epcot! Even tho it sounds weird I am definitely going to try the avocado.

DH is a big margarita fan! Please tell me where LaCava is. Is it in Epcot?

It is inside the Mexico Pavillion. When you go into the main part of the building (the marketplace), stay to your right. There is a door just after the staircase that is the Tequila Bar.
It can easily be missed if you aren't paying attention. But if you can't find it, just ask, a CM will gladly help you out.

It was fabulous....a must for every WDW trip...at least for me!!! :)

OMG - you mean this isn't new! We go to WDW every other year, Epcot if our favorite park & we had no idea this existed!!:rotfl2:

Well - it is nice to know I can surprise DH with something new geared for adults this time.

Avocado!

During our trip last week I tried several of the La Cava margaritas. I had a blood orange, cucumber and avocado, and my husband had a passion fruit that I tasted. Also, when I asked the waitress if they still did a margarita flight, she said no, but when she brought mine, she gave me a sample of a pineapple one.

I went there thinking the blood orange would be my favorite, but the cucumber and avocado were both better. The cucumber was very refreshing, and the avocado was wonderful! It tasted more like a banana daiquiri than an avocado margarita, but it was great!

I also had an "Off to See the Lizard" margarita at Jimmy Buffett's in Universal, but the La Cava ones were better.

Here's a picture of my blood orange and pineapple sample along with my awesome guacamole:

La Cava is now my favorite place to hang out and people watch as well as to get great drinks. There were definitely people having a great time in there!

Ugh, I was really wanting to try the margarita flight.:sad2:

I agree that avocado is the best. So tasty and refreshing! Wish I had one right now!

We are getting ready for our trip and so excited to hear about all the different margaritas to try. Does anyone remember an approximate cost for the margaritas? I want to make sure we budget enough $ for several different ones to try! LOL! :lmao:

Most are $12.50. They are well worth it, IMO.

I love this thread!!! My favorite so far is the Avocado!!! I have only tried that one and the Blood Orange so far. But, the Avocado was amazing!!! I want to try the Cucumber one next!

I didn't like the avocado one and I love avocado. I loved the jalapeno but I believe that one is gone now. I've also done the passion fruit, the blood orange and the pineapple. Pineapple is my second favorite one. I haven't tried the cucumber.

I do love this tequila cave. I wish they'd open a vodka one over in France. :lovestruc

I was in the La Cava on Tuesday 2/22 and the Jalapeno Margarita is still on the margarita menu. :thumbsup2
Avocado
Blood Orange
Hibiscus
San Angel
Classica
Jalapeno
Cucumber
I do not remember the Pineapple one but it may be there.

No Margarita Flights but Tequila Shots Flight.

The pineapple one didn't have "pineapple" in the name, if memory serves me correct from December. I've tried just about every one on the menu, and if I'm going for the sweeter kind, I'd get the pineapple one. Cucumber or jalapeno are good choices when you don't want something as sweet.

Pepe made BIL and I habanero margaritas back in October and man they were hot.

I'm a fan of the avocado too.
