Hi, Carrie! I don't know what her deal was. :confused3 Thanks!

After lunch, it was time to go back to TSM for our FP return. We hopped right on – the FP line is super short – and had another fun round. We convinced Buzz & Woody to ride together for once, so D & I had a nice time. He won, though. :headache: :rotfl:

Coming out of the ride, we got a few more pictures. They have you remove your ponchos for the indoor queue at TSM, so even though Buzz is not ponchoed here, he will be soon. Outside the new Pixar area:

We also found one of the green Army men:

And I just absolutely love this picture of Buzz:

Next up, we wanted to see if we could catch the Jedi Training. Woody (remember, he’s not the shy one) really wanted to get picked. Buzz did not. I think it’s because we’d seen video of a friend doing it in May, and he knew you’d have to fight Darth Vader if you got picked.

Meanwhile, we were starting to see a patch of blue sky!!!

They won’t do the show if the stage is wet, so it was a little late getting started. They used squeegees and towels and dried the stage, and then we did get going.

We had a Wish family in front of us, so we knew they’d get picked. Buzz & Woody got up close, and Woody was indeed picked. Pshew. Buzz still wasn’t interested – OK. The “Jedi Master” was really good and (I thought) funny.

Here’s Woody during training:

And here’s his turn with Vader:

He received a cute little certificate at the end, and he was really excited. Buzz said he had a lot of fun watching, and he didn’t freak about not getting a certificate, as I feared. :thumbsup2 We jumped right onto Star Tours for the third time of the day.

We had been talking about getting them on RnRC or ToT all morning. So, for the first time we headed to that side of the park. The stand-by for ToT was 40 minutes, not so bad, but no amount of talking was getting the boys back on, :rotfl: and we didn’t want to wait that long to do a swap on a ride the boys had no interest in. The FP return was around 4:30 or so, and we had thought we might be gone by then.

So we went over to RnRC. Woody had thought he’d maybe try it, but he wasn’t tall enough? I was SURE they were both measured in May at the pediatrician’s to be tall enough for every ride in the park. Apparently I remembered incorrectly.:headache: So, that was a disappointment.

The standby line there was 60 minutes. D left me to ride in the single rider line, and he took the boys back to Star Tours. Nice guy. :rotfl2: I was through the single rider in 30, so it was a good enough choice.

When I came out, the Block Party parade deal was going on, and the place just looked packed. I wound my way back around, and found them in the dump shop. I sent D over to ride RnRC, and I did allow the boys to pick out a souvenir. Buzz chose a stuffed Mickey dressed up like Luke, and Woody chose a very small stuffed Ewok. With stuffies in hand, the boys and I headed out. It was just exactly 4:00. We caught a very empty bus back to AKL. The boys wanted to swim, so of course it was pouring rain.

We quickly got changed and went ahead out in the rain to swim. Heck, we were getting wet anyway, right? ;)

But, it was pouring SO hard that when I went to get a glass (well, plastic cup) of wine at the pool bar, a big honking raindrop fell in the cup and made wine spill on my shirt! No joke, it was just raining that hard. :scared:

Still, the boys had a blast on the little slide. D joined us after only about a half hour – the bus coming back seemed to be running quickly  – and around 5:10 we all headed in to get ready for our dinner at Boma.

Up next: dinner and then...

I'm first!!!

Okay- the army man with no face is creepy. :scared:

How cool that he got to fight Darth Vader.

Great Update !! What is the Dump Shop:confused3 I've forgotten it seems to me this came up before. It sounds like UMMMMMM! something to do with restrooms !!:lmao:

Rosie... ;) No, it's the shops that rides dump you into, so that there's no chance of avoiding them.

:woohoo: Glad Woody got picked to be a Jedi in training.

Me, too. We kept warning him he might not be chosen, but it would have caused a meltdown. ;)

:faint:

Just a minute. I'm recovering.

From. The. Spilled. Wine.

Dang...it was hard to even type that...I"m panting a bit! ;)

And that video was stinkin' cute. Jon is with your shy little one...that's a no-go on the Jon front!

And...ermmm...where's that army guy's eyeballs???

Come on boys! ;)

They said maybe when they're 10. :rotfl:

::yes:: And then, you have to remember that my wine was also rain-diluted. Yum.

I was just glad he wasn't upset for not doing it, after.

Don't know. :scared:

I feel justified in my being out in the rain all those days by knowing everyone else braved it too!

Thats so cool that Woody got picked for the Jedi Show!! :darth: even cooler that Buzz wasnt upset about it! ;)
Was it cold swimming in the pouring rain? And I`m imagining the Giant Rain Drop going into your wine cup in slo-mo like in a movie..I dont know why...just am....:lmao:

Rosie,,,A dump shop is the gift shop at the end of an attraction or ride. :teacher:

I know - that worried me.

Was it cold swimming in the pouring rain?

Nah, the pool water was probably warmer than the air. The only bad thing was that our cover ups and t-shirts all got wet and so we had nothing dry to wear to the room. The AC was a killer, then! :rotfl:

That's about how I felt as it happened. I mean, if I spill my drink, that's my fault, but the rain? Really? :headache: :rotfl2:

Woody was indeed picked. Pshew.
Yay thank goodness :yay:

Ellie still won't go on there again nor will David :rotfl2:

True, we did that a couple of times :thumbsup2

Oh no :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Great update....I noticed the FP line at TSM did seem really short when we road it a couple times. Another thing was that the time we waited was always about half the time that was posted. One morning at about 9:30, it said 70 mins, we decided to just wait since we didn't really want to do anything else at that point and the wait ended up being about 30 mins (we never stopped moving). Another time we waited, since it was going to be the last time we could ride it, and the wait was like 100min and we only waited about 50min (which was long, but we kept ourselves amused in the line with all the pictures/props)

We also went swimming many times in the pooring rain at WL and we were definitely not alone LOL!
